when KD gets that GOAT ref treatment, defenses have no option but to sag off and avoid contact/contesting. It takes out opposing team players, sending them into foul trouble, ideally a big so that KD has free reign in the paint. It really affects the game drastically, inflates his stats, and influences the outcomes of games immensely.

It just ain't fair.
