"His impact goes beyond the boxscore"

I remember when people said he was the best center in the league.

His defensive impact seldom shows up in the boxscore, however 7 boards is weak for a guy his size

Box score watchers wouldn't understand his impact. You'd actually have to watch the games for that.

Overrated. Never seen an all-star have more 6 and 4 games than Hibbert. And the man is 7'2 for ****'s sake.
Just embarrassing.

Here's the full list of all-star centers that averaged less than 12 and 8 that were all-stars:

The whole "impact outside the boxscore" crap can only go so far. He's averaging 11/7 LMAO. He'd have to have the most impact outside the box score in NBA history.

He is negatively impacting their shooting % tho.
But seriously, the guy gets away with too many bad calls because of his reputation for "verticality" for me to not enjoy bashing him from time to time.

They were voted based on popularity. Roy was voted in by coaches. Weak East.

I wouldn't exactly call a C who's getting 2.4 bpg and 2.7 orpg in 30 mpg overrated but it's not like anyone is claiming he's the best C in the league - I think? He sure as hell isn't a top 5 big man, I'd have to make a list but I don't even think he's a top 5 all around C.

Team success has a lot to do with it....and the fact he had been there before.
Not sure what the big deal is.

ISH loves jumping on the underdogs
Al Jefferson shit on his "DPOY" ass when they played last. His impact is VERY overrated, and let's not forget this is a two way game.

This overrated trash has as many career AS selections as Rodman now.
Further proof that "evolution" is not synonymous with "improvement".
