I have never seen any other movies in 3D so i don't know but

i saw 300 IMAX 3d and it was sick. so much blood flying at you in 3D, spears flying 3/4's of the theater length, heads flying after being chopped offf in 3d, i mean almost everything was so gory and it all seemed so real. Its also the most recent 3D movie i think.

any other movies or is there any other movie that does 3D really well?

The new one or the first one? I haven't seen the 2nd one yet please don't tell me what happens

I'd imagine the following films would be awesome in 3d:

Stars Wars series
Matrix trilogy
Transformers trilogy
Spiderman trilogy

Prometheus.

And don't sleep on Dredd in 3D.

I didn't care for it in 3D and that's because I saw the Hobbit 2 before that. The difference is night and day with that 60 fps. I don't think you can catch anymore in 3D, but I would buy a 3D tv just for that movie alone.

Avatar had a shit story, but looked great in 3D.

Gravity and the two Hobbit movies are, so far, my favorite 3D movies.

The Hobbit movies especially, with the use of high-frame rate cameras...was really a unique viewing experience and I really hope this is where movies are heading.

Some shots in Life of Pi were pretty awesome.

I didn't see it because it looked like the worst movie ever, but I can safely say it's the worst movie ever

yeah they were 3D too. i was thinking that was katie holmes lol but i don't follow people in these movies these days.

it would've been better if they had some girl with D cups jiggling around, hers with alright but just not huge or took advantage of the 3D much.

Better than most other comic book movies. Much grittier and filmed well. How far did you get into it before stopping?

Avatars depth of field in terms on perceived dimension was on another level but I haven't seen the 300 jawn or the Gravity jawn in that format.

Coraline was the best 3D movie I've ever seen. I was in an enhanced state of mind when I saw it, but still, greatest 3D movie I've seen.
