Love seeing the GSW players fake flinching to try get a lane violation.

you can cross the line as soon as he starts his motion, I don't know why they're doing this evading shit

No, it's 'on the release'. Hence why the refs always say, 'on the release'.

We actually had a kid on another team in our league pump fake on a FT this season. He was assessed a technical and we got two FT's.

no pun intended

It's hilarious because his teammates don't move an inch when he raises his arms cause they know the routine and Bogut points to the refs whenever the opponents do otherwise.

Why? His teammates should be punished by knowing when his release is and not running in early? In most of those clips, the opponent is running in and boxing out O'Neal's teammates almost a full second early, and rarely do they even make an attempt to get back where they are supposed to.

ha, well like dude said they fake going in, too.

But yea dudes need self control. Even if someone gets you on this once, it should never happen again.

It's a scouting report issue. Even though it's his quirk, the rules are the rules and if you run in before he shoots that's how it goes. Other people have crazy FTs too.

What amazes me more is that he's even still in the league. I remember in the 2010 playoffs he was so terrible he actually had a -per for most of that series. He ended up with a per of 2.5 scoring 4ppg on 8.8 shot attempts :oldlol:

He was really never a good scorer in general, but his defense was legit. That year Ron Artest won DPOY was a joke...for one it was basically Ben Wallace's most dominant defensive season and two and most importantly...Artest wasn't even the best/anchor of the Pacers defense...Jermaine O'neal was. They would have been a lot worse defensively if O'neal went out as opposed to Artest.

Well i guess you're fine with it, i'm personally going to hate the day when players catch on and start to use stupid and elaborate free throw motions to mess with opponents.

Refs should not let the shooter dictate violations like that.
