Let's just ignore the possibility that LeBron consciously worked on finishing drives to his left after hearing Jordan's comments...

He didnt. It was a bad scouting report. Lebron should be stopped from driving so give him space and hope he bricks a jumper.

He's weirdly ambidextrous from what I remember. Writes and does everyday things with his left hand but shoots with his right... maybe that's why his jumper is so unreliable  epiphany...

Oh shit I couldve sworn it was during their first season together. He did miss a gamewinner vs the bulls that year but come to think of it it was a jumpshot from the top of the key and not the baseline.

Actually, that's not what he said. THIS is what he said:

"When LeBron goes right, he usually drives; when he goes left, he usually shoots a jumper. It has to do with his mechanics and how he loads the ball for release.

"So if I have to guard him," Jordan says, "I'm gonna push him left so nine times out of 10, he's gonna shoot a jump shot. If he goes right, he's going to the hole and I can't stop him. So I ain't letting him go right."

All he really said was that the man is more likely to shoot a jumper when he goes left. We all know LeBron heard those comments... is it really that unlikely that he made a conscious effort thereafter to prove MJ wrong? Or that defenders believed it so much that they played him harder to his right?

He has been a great finisher to his left for a long time, long before Jordan's comments. I thought it was dumb then bc he almost seems to prefer going left. Just stay off him and make him shoot, usually does pretty well tbh.

It's depressing that people don't know something so basic about the game's biggest player. LeBron has ALWAYS been better going left. He dribbles better with his left hand, finishes better with his left hand, is more explosive driving left and thus, prefers going left. And yes, he shoots most of his jumpers going left(like ALL right handed players, it's easier to square up), that does not mean that's all he does when he goes left. LeBron's more likely to drive the ball all the way to the rack even when he does go left. That's his bread and butter move. ESPN did an entire piece debunking MJ's scouting report last year. Just google it.

"When LeBron goes right, he usually drives; when he goes left, he usually shoots a jumper. It has to do with his mechanics and how he loads the ball for release.
Based on the sample of games from 1990-92, it seems to be the opposite for Jordan. Driving right, he was more likely to pull up for a jump shot. But driving left, he was more likely to go all the way to the basket, and also turned the ball over more than twice as much as he did going right. However this only tell us so much, without specifying the player's tendencies against certain types of defensive schemes.

http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=317950

*Jordan's shooting tendencies & effectiveness when making a move off the dribble either to the left or right. Also recorded turnovers in each of these instances, including stolen pass outs, offensive fouls, getting stripped by the defense, or being forced into a jump ball (and possession lost).

lebron d1ckriders in here complaining about Durant "carrying"... meanwhile Lebron blatantly travels and refs don't call it.

who do you think points out those travels that the refs don't call? His fans? :lol
Nah, they're usually Kobe or KD stans but nobody says anything about them being biased. We point out that KD clearly palms the ball and a shit storm ensues from the likes of you :facepalm

This, but most people are stupid, and are terrible at evaluating what they see - instead, they'd rather listen to one of the worst GMs and talent evaluators in history.

Shit, here's Lebron making 5 lefty layups in one game as a 20 year old:

can someone verify this is the original photo? i seen it a lot but

bran doesn't look like someone that packs heat like that to me. i find it hard to believe

maybe it's the camera angle, he's squatting a little so the pelvic area is jutted out

He's never been a slouch going left, but you are all on meth if you actually think he's BETTER to his left. If he gets a step to his right he has the GOAT one-legged tomahawk. Everyone knows you can't let Bron drive to his right.

the only problem with your analysis, fpliii, is lebron's strength IS going left. it always has been. of his 7 game winners i mentioned, at least 3 were jumpers.

stick to being a passive aggressive weenie on your main.

You try too hard. And I am not fpliii.

Said he's more likely to pull up when going left, which is true.
Indeed.
