his handles overrated. he loses the ball a lot when driving. He has some nice moves in his arsenal though.

The biggest improvement in Durant's game over the past 3 years has been his handle. That was previously his weakness while he played off ball more - now he has a sick crossover that opens up a lot of half court iso buckets

True, or possibly even closer to 6-10 without shoes so maybe even taller than Durant, who only measured 6-9 without shoes

Durant is 6-9. Malformed question.
He was 6'9, without shoes, at age 18/19 at the draft combine.
He's most definitely 6'11.

KD is probably 6'10 in shoes, listed at 6'9"... so i would say prime Lamar Odom (listed 6'10) is the tallest guy i seen with handles & ballcontrol comparable to basically anybody, people quickly forget, the guy was like a 6'10+ Jamal Crawford. No he isn't. He's just an absolute toothpick, so he looks taller than he really is.
And the usual NBA gimmick BULLSHIT marketing. Where they just make up all this nonsense about how so and so "grew an inch or two inches since they were drafted".............
That shit isn't true and it's never been true. When are people going to grasp that it's just NBA gimmick propaganda marketing? None of that stuff has ever been true.

Lebron's handles are weak. He doesn't break down defenders using dribbling moves.
Why would he even need to? He can cross the entire length of the court on about 5 dribbles, and hell sometimes even 3 dribbles..........
He can steal the ball in the half court on defense and then dunk it at the other end off 2-3 dribbles with ease.........
he can cover 30 feet off one dribble.........
when the refs allow that in EVERY GAME you play, why the hell would you even need basic dribbling skills?

Carrying and traveling are "fundamental basketball" in the NBA. I'm not sure what your point is. That's considered outstanding ball handling in the NBA.
True that in any other league it's a carry, but in the NBA it's "outstanding".

I got it from a long time ago I was watching some behind the scenes thing from some movie they were making. Hakeem was playing a basketball player in the movie.
They kept saying he was the 7 foot player in the movie and finally he said something like, "no, really I am 6-10 without shoes on. Well, I am 6-10 and a half to be exact."

False.
Antetokounmpo
Kukoc
Bodiroga
Bird
All of them clearly better ball handlers. And then you had,
Schrempf
Who was about as good Durant.
And I am probably forgetting some more also. In fact, I am sure if I thought about it a little bit, that I could come up with a whole bunch more examples. That's just off the top of my head.

They all had decent handles for big men...but none of them came close in terms of quickness off the dribble, crossovers, change of direction, etc.
Even with the gif people keep posting of BG doing the double behind the back/spin move on the break...you can tell that he still "moves" like a big man.
The fluidity just isn't there...and it's just pure physics really.
Durant being as skinny as he is definitely helps in this department.

Stop doing drugs. His crossover isn't even 1/10 as good as Bodiroga's and he's not even half as quick with the dribble as Antetokounmpo. Not to mention that Kukoc was a point forward.
Or that Bird could lead an offense from the dribble.......
You need to put the pipe down.

Durant is probably up there, and all credit to him.
But traditionally he would be a power forward, and wouldn't have been encouraged to develop those skills to that level.

I see what you're saying but I disagree. Blake actually looks up multiple times just like a guard would and then makes a quick move. You can see it as soon as he gets the ball he looks forward and to his right real quick and then puts the first move on Ty. Then he does it again, he looks up right at Ty to assess things real quick before he put on that first spin before the play was called dead. That shows great ball handling/guard like instincts. I could see if he was just looking down the whole time and just operating strictly off instincts but he pulled that off like a guard. I gotta give him his props for that...
