How does one go from a 20,5,5 rookie year, in the company of legends like Mj, and the Big O... to nothing?

Have you been watching him lately? He's definitely not "nothing".

Injuries kind of hurt him a bit. He actualyl been playing well lately with Eric and Jrue not playing. He needs the ball in his hands to be effective. I say Pelicans work with him and Davis.

After his 1st season, I thought he'd become a superstar one day. Things have gone downhill from there but he's still productive.

That Sacramento locker room was tragic. Wouldn't be surprised to see any of those Kings players perform better after leaving.

The point is, he was expected to be a superstar after his rookie year.

just further substantiate the fact that many perimeter players can put up good stats in a ball dominant and high usage situation

the james harden phenomenon

He's lazy that's what happened. He never tried to improve his game and the league figured him out after his rookie year.

He's always been in bad situations for a player of his caliber. He was forced to play positions that he wasn't suitable in and was always on a team loaded with guards. The reason for his great play lately is because he's finally getting major playing time like he did in his rookie season and he's able to dominate the ball with Anthony Davis helping him out a lot.

I really like the Evans/Davis combo, really sexy. I hope they keep it up/don't get it ****ed up when people come back. Who am I kidding, this won't last :(

He's been ballin lately , like others mentioned his injuries kinda slowed him down...he was hyped up during his rookie year but he's still a good player nonetheless

thought he was going to be a star after his rookie campaign as he was great at getting to the rim. Problem was that he had no jumpshot and I guess the league figured that out and took away the lane (though I havent seen him much since)

The thing about Tyreke is, you know he wants to get into the paint, everybody knows this, but yet it's still hard keeping him from doing so.
