I just looked at the standings/brackets for the West. Clippers-Warriors in the first round?! :biggums:
Gonna be some serious upset shit going down in May. Wow. Neither team deserves to go home after the first round.

Nobody besides Thunder or Spurs are coming out of the West. It'll be a fun playoffs but it kinda ruins it that none of the other teams can beat SA or OKC.

like every year, pretty much
still see OKC and SAS as the best, but surprises do happen in this league

Is it an upset if they're all on the same level?

very true. no upsets in the west. anything can literally and actually happen in the west playoffs.

In terms of seeding, it would be. Plus clippers have been running real hot.
I like our chances against the clips better than the other 3 top half seeded teams though

lol @ this. Not really a "bloodbath" when OKC and Houston are clearly above everybody else.

This, after you get past SA and OKC pretty much every team in the West is the same squad just with a different name slapped on their jerseys. Pick n roll, chuck 3s non stop with an occasional alley oop. It'll be the softest 'bloodbath' in History :lol

The West is so overrated. It's filled with soft ass teams that chuck up threes. Everyone likes to pretend the West is so unpredictable when it's obvious that the Spurs and OKC are gonna be fighting it out in the WCF.

lol at people downplaying the western conference dominance. There are 8 legitimately good teams in the west.
I think it's just kind of a Lebron stan thing. They try to pretend as if their boy doesn't play in the VASTLY inferior conference.

Superior conferences is so overblown as if the two conferences haven't split the champions in the last decade. If the East loses, it's because the East is shit. If the East wins, it's because they had an easier road. You West clowns are really too much.

Because the East is shit. All you you have to do is look at the standings to see the disparity.
East teams do have an easier road to the Finals...it's just a fact.

It might be a bloodbath, but to suggest that every team is on a similar level is ludicrous.
You have your championship contenders in the Spurs, Thunder and Clippers.
You have your dangerous but non-contending teams in Golden State, Portland, Dallas, and Memphis, and Phoenix.
Then you have your undeserving, fringe playoff team in Houston.
The concept of an upset certainly exists in the West, because some teams are just clearly better than others.

Compared to the East (weaker than arthritis) ? I think 'bloodbath' is absolutely appropriate :lol

Even when you're trying to make a point, you still randomly shit on Houston. Unless you believe what you just said, you're the most ludicrous post so far.
also lol @ Clips being on a separate level
Who the hell would be shocked if GS beats the Clips?

How often have these upsets happened in the West? Let's be serious. It's almost a given that OKC and Spurs are making it to the conference finals.

True. Clippers have a better record than the Heat, yet they might get stuck playing the Warriors in the first round. Meanwhile, the Heat get to play the ****ing Bobcats. What a joke.

Clippers are lucky to be in the West. In the East, they'd be first round fodder for the Bobcats (scores.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=400489494).

I think GSW will pass Portland for the 5th so will end up playing Houston

Just read the second part.
Unless Curry and Thompson go apeshit on the Clippers, how exactly are they on the same level? The Clippers have the 2nd ranked offense and 8th ranked defense, both better than Miami.
