Worst NBA team names and what you would change them to

New Orleans Jazz (birthplace of Jazz is actually in NOLA)
Washington Bullets (name prior much better)
Charlotte Hornets (the nickname of the city is 'the Hornets nest')
Utah Mormons (significant to the region)

Charlotte Hornets was one I always pushed for. Glad it's coming back. New Orleans Jazz should follow suit but it's not going to happen with the Pelicans change.

The Thunder name sucks too. Losing the Sonics for that crap was embarrassing.

Pelicans name is retarded but I don't hate it as it fits the state, i feel bad for their fans though.
