He always has the height advantage on his defender, so he always has the option of simply shooting over his man. KD is the same. Both of them get the easiest shots in the NBA.

Dirk spends most of his time around the elbows or posting up from around 15 feet. It's kind of a waste to have him out in the corner where he isn't likely to get a good look with the kind of attention he gets.
