Me neither, but I don't value my own time so much that I'm willing to hold up traffic for everyone else just because I'm not in a hurry. You aren't much safer going 20 than you are 25. Unless you just can't handle driving more than 30 miles an hour which seems to be the case with a lot of old people. I'm not asking people to drive above the speed limit just asking that they stop sucking cocks instead of paying attention to the road.

When you do the math, it simply doesn't pay to speed. The time you save by speeding is so minimal...I mean VERY minimal. But your risk of an accident goes way up, plus more gas usage, more stress, more wear and tear on car....speeding isn't really worth it.

I hate people that are impatient on regular stop signs. Traffic is coming from both directions and you expect myself or the driver to rush for you? Fck that. Because when it's vice versa no one would rush a stop sign (not an all way stop sign) for me.

it's crazy how upset some people get over things like this

I get mad when traffic is at a dead stop and I am running late....NOT when I can't go 5-10 MPH faster than I would like

OP was probably riding someone's bumper so they slowed it down to 5 below the speed limit just to let him know that he can such their dick.

I also get frustrated when people go below the speed limit. I mean, I'm not saying you have to speed like everybody else on the road, but you can at least go the speed limit.

Having said that, people who ride others' bumpers, honk at them, or get aggressive in general can suck a fat one. Keep your ****ing distance and then pass them the first chance you get. What does it buy you from being a dick if it's an old lady who doesn't feel comfortable going faster.

I remember I used to work with an old Polish lady (she passed 2 months ago, RIP) who would have jerks from work riding her bumper on ****ing snow days making her very panicky, so I would get behind her when she'd leave and make sure I left her plenty of distance. In return I'd get free nalesnikis for lunch.

Nope I only ride their bumper if they're already going below. If they're at or above the speed limit I'll leave some car lengths between us.

:applause: That's exactly what I mean. I don't expect people to speed and risk a ticket, just that they go the speed limit. Is that really to much to ask? :confusedshrug: I tend to drive pretty fast in snow or ice too but if that is the case I don't care if somebody drives slow.

Doesn't really frustrate me, I respect peoples decision to drive slow. But if you're driving slow, at least get out of the ****ing way. The worst thing in the world is when you're driving in a 55 going a decent 70 for instance on a 3 lane road, you are on the middle track and there are cars in both tracks next to you and some dumbass going 50 jumps in the middle and cuts your off. Why tf are you merging honestly??? I understand if you trying to get ahead of the guy in front of you so you merge or you're trying to take an exit, but mutherfukcer why you merging into an empty lane if you steady driving slow?? Nothing aggravates me more.

And to the guy saying speeding doesn't really help much, it does when you make the red lights, trust me. I have timed myself before. for instance, for me driving from Clearwater to St. Pete, I can get there in 15 minutes easy if I make the lights and drive a steady 75-80mph (its like a mini highway, not like I'm driving this fast on a rural road), however if the lights hold me back and I drive the speed limit of 55, it takes me 27-30 mins every time. Gotta know your roads.

Good guy. I hate people that ride bumpers. I always want to slam on my breaks to **** there car up, but I don't want the possible broken neck.

How about the people who are behind you, switch lanes, and cut in front of you only to drive the exact speed you were going?

worst thing is when you have 2 people driving under the speed limit(or even at. yeah i speed a bit) side by side, and no one in front of them but you cant get around them since there's only 2 lanes.

but being high while driving makes that a bit less annoying. but thats a whole other topic.

My house is on a 25 mph street and my street is off a 35 mph street. My favorite is when I'm stuck behind somebody for sometimes 3+ miles and they do 30 the whole way down the first street then continue doing 30 down my street even though the speed limit just decreased 10 mph.

I don't mind, as long as they stay out of the left lane. When there's a car in the left lane holding everyone up because they're driving at the same speed of the semi-trucks in the right lanes, that does piss me off.

or when someone insists on staying in the carpool lane going 60 mph. Always happens when we drive down to San Diego. I always say screw it and cross the solid lines to pass them instead of waiting for a break.

People who drive below the limit - going 30 in a 35 - are assholes. There is no other way to put it. They value their time and gas mileage more than the community-agreed-upon speed limit and don't care if it's holding other people up.

I'll never get mad at anyone for driving AT the speed limit but those driving below are bastards.

Also, the left lane is an exception. If you are going 75 in the left lane and the speed limit is 65, GTFO. YOU ARE GOING TOO SLOW FOR THE LEFT LANE. If you are ever driving in the left lane and there is a huge gap in front of you, GTFO.

That being said, its true about what Bagelred was saying, speeding barely saves any time whatsoever so I keep my ass out of the left lane now and drive comfortably.

Well I've never been in a wreck so no but you do realize the people with the cameras are the assholes in that situation right? Dude just wanted to pass them but flipped them off because they sped up when he tried to get around. Why do you think they had the camera out? They were probably going around just trying to **** with people.

even tho im so easy and calm in real life, on the road I get aggressive as a mfer. Some inner beast wakes up, Im the one who switches lanes back and forth, honk, go way above speed limit and "teach" others how to drive etc.

Buuut even then, I drive every day and almost never had a potential accident.

That's a cute response, but if you've driven in the real world you know what I'm talking about.

Are you the guy going 70 in the fast lane of a 65mph freeway?

Why is someone going 30 in a 35 an asshole; and our highways are 70.

Same question still applies, even then. Are you the guy going 70, in the left lane?
Going 30 in a 35 is obviously legally OK, but it's only not a dick move if there aren't people behind you.

The only traffic that bothers me is on when there's an accident on a highway and EVERYONE has to stop and look.

No one has ever seen an accident before and you think its funny or entertaining until its you on the side of the road and you're embarrassed to be there.

this. Every mother****er on the road is rubber necking to see the accident... It's not like the lanes are blocked out either but just people going so damn slow. Doesn't have to be an accident either, cars can just be stopped on the side for what ever reason and people slow down and try to investigate the scene.

I get annoyed when on red lights people make last second stops and don't stop pushing the gas when they are literally under the stop light. I see red I stop accelerating but people end up cutting me and we literally end up in the same spot 5 seconds later cause the light still hasn't changed.

Exactly what I was going to say.

SPEED LIMIT, NOT SPEED MINIMUM.

I'll drive however fast or slow I want, and if I can tell you want me to go faster I'll slow down.

You can be pulled over just as much for impeding traffic if you drive like a slow jackass.

Drive slow all you want, just not in the ****ing fast lane.

Idk about other places but in the city I'm from most people treat the speed limit as the speed minimum. I'm pretty sure nobody gets pulled over for speeding unless there going 10+ mph over. I go 8-9 over by cops all the time and have never been pulled over for speeding. And that's on residential streets its more like 15+ for the freeway. Idc how slow you go on a street I can legally pass you on but when there's double yellow lines its frustrating. You can below the speed limit as much as you want and I can't do anything about it but let you know that your a POS for doing so. And I'll lay on my horn if your going more than 5 under. Not because I think it'll make you go faster it's just that I want you to know you suck.
