If Shaq had Kobe's work ethic he'd probably be the GOAT, so I can kinda respect where Kobe is coming from. Say what you want about Kobe, but dude works his ass off.

That said though I think this is one area where MJ was a better leader than Kobe, he could ride teammates hard too, but he knew when to back off and he knew how to deal with different personalities (like Rodman). Kobe sees everything in black and white.
