Other than shill/gimmick accounts, seems everybody's a fan. :pimp:

I don't really like him, but I like him more than Durant.

Troll thread?

Anyone who likes Westbrook more than Durant... well, lol... let's just say they were probably Kobe fans too.

Thing is, Kobe/LeBron/KD/MJ all have vocal supporters/detractors.

So your theory is that because Westbrook isn't talked about that much, he is universally liked?

Do you realize how much shit he caught when he came back and the Thunder started losing games?

I mean, ffs, so many people here call him Westbrick... **** off dude, really. He has been catching shit from fans for years. He is not universally liked.

Troll thread is troll thread is obvious.

The closest players to being "universally liked"(which doesn't exist btw) are probably like Grant Hill and Ray Allen or some shit.

I agree with the main point of this, even if you're saying it in the most dickish way imaginable. Christ, man. :facepalm

Durant stans hate him, He shows that their beloved player is just a beta waiting for its alpha to act.

I dislike westbrook because he could be a generational PG talent but keeps to monkeyballing, shooting 30 footers, random passes, matador reach around defense and more, he doesn't seem in control tbh.

He seems to be dumb as bricks too and his fashion style:facepalm

He's the opposite of BG.

But he will get his share of hate when he starts dominating the league.

people might dislike his his bad post defense.
Also in 2-3 seasons lack of impact in the win column might make him the next kevin love.

BG for all the shit he gets is a decent 1v1 post defender and a player well beyond highlights and right now his impact >> AD.

I fully agree that he will be hated, it just hasn't happened yet. These young studs always get celebrated universally at first, and then like clockwork they are disliked by many later. If they become big stars, people see them as competition for their favorite players and start hating them. If they don't become big stars, they will be hated by people who see them as disappointments.

Dirk? Duncan? Curry?

AD had a lot of haters until his recent play, now he hasn't been around long enough to generate a following of hate. I'd say Parsons has almost no hates. Kawhi also. You gotta be a second or third banana to avoid hate.

I like Westbrook the man but I hate his game. It's horrible.

Surely guys like Duncan & Dirk should be above him?

I disagree.
WB seems to get all the heat when OKC loses. Every game you will read things like "WB and Durant can't co exist"
"WB is a chucker"
"WB isn't a PG"
"Durant won't win a ring with WB"
"Thunder should trade WB"

I guess Brow is the one you're looking for.

Harden would be much more liked around here if Houston fans didn't claim he was a franchise player/superstar.

HAH! Westbrook has his share of fans on here, but as for universally liked, not a chance.

He's a lightning bolt, the most electrifying man in sports, but far from everyone liking him.

I think fans of every team can appreciate him, everyone calls him Goatbrook sometime or another after one of his crazy dunks :pimp:

Well yeah, the flopping shit doesn't help either. But eventually AD is gonna have bandwagon/fans that will prop him up like all the other greats.

He'll be the darling next season and people with pick him apart the following season.

#mediacycle

I think it's true most people "like" Westbrook because they like the way his personality comes off.

As a player I think he is pretty flawed but he is GOATbrook and plays the game with a combination of balls/fun that's hard not to identify with.
