No. He doesn't command double teams and gameplanning.

I'll tell you one thing, on offense, dude has not been unleashed yet.

He's got a solid set of moves, good court vision, can score from all over the court, and is as mobile and athletic as any player in the league. He's still young though and makes mistakes here and there.

He could be putting up 17-20 ppg on worse teams, probably a dip in FG%, but he could do it. Especially on a team that runs (Houston, Golden State, etc) and takes tons of threes

Spurs are on a 15 game win streak since he came back from injury. Averaging 14 ppg (.52 FG%) / 7 rpg / 2 apg / 2 spg / 1.5 bpg / 1.4 threes made

These stats prove that advanced stats without context are useless. Looking at those stats one would think that Leonard is the best 1 on 1 player. In reality, he s not even top 20.

His iso numbers are great because he only gets isos whenever he has a mismatch.

I thought this was going to be more about his defense because in a one on one situation, I'm not sure there's a more terrifying defender in the league than Leonard.

MIAMI -- LeBron James says no one can guard Kevin Durant without help.

"Individually, he can't be stopped by any one-on-one player," James said. "There's nobody that can guard him one-on-one."

Pop will not unleash him, he wants him to play high IQ on offense. I doubt the Spurs run many ISO plays that aren't broken or don't automatically force Pop to call timeout to yell at iso guy :oldlol:

These stats prove that advanced stats without context are useless.

-Efficiency decreases as USG% increases

-Kawhi has a really low USG%

USG%

Durant 32.8

LeBron 30.5

----------------

Parker 26.8

Duncan 25.2

Manu 24.7

Kawhi 18.0

That said, Kawhi is playing at a high level. He is the key for the Spurs.

29.4 MP --> 12.3 pt / 6.3 rb / 1.8 as / 1.7 st / 0.6 blk / FG% 51.8

You're an idiot. The fact that he doesnt command double teams means that nobody cares what he does in an ISO situation. If he isnt good enough to get doubled there is no way he is close to the best iso player in the league.

Use your head. It should have been obvious as to what we were talking about.

Butler and Kawhi guarded eachother. Butler was harder to score on. Butler also did better job guarding Lebron.
