He was never that highly regarded as a draft prospect though.

Also, the comparisons to larger point guards is a way off, he doesn't have the quickness of either Penny or Livingston (even now) and really isn't going to play point guards. He's going to have a hard enough time trying to guard small forwards, he'll get roasted if he tries to guard points in the NBA. He's a player that's going to get by on his high skill level rather than his athleticism.

Anderson has the same pre-draft measurments as T-Jones did.

That length for a PG.

He'll be a quality Role Player for any championship team. He'd pair best with a scoring PG.

I like him, he's an all around guy. I liked his teammate Lavine more, dude is explosive kinda reminds me of Westbrook. Get it done Knicks, draft him in the 2nd round

Sigh :(

I used to read mock drafts and read his scouting report and they had him as a top 5 player, once in a decade PG type

He is was a once in a decade player..... until MCW got drafted.

I have been hoping all season the Bulls would get him but now that they are fighting for 3rd seed and with the Bobcats securing that 7th seed I'm afraid t will be too late to pick him.

We're gonna have serious fun watching him play the next decade.

He's a late lotto pick for sure.

His floor is Shaun Livingston (Brooklyn Nets)

His ceiling is Penny Hardaway (Phoenix Suns)

Absolutely no way....this guy is totally unathletic.

He's slow, can't jump and will never be as quick.

He should be a top 7 pick. He has serious skill

If anything, this guy will be similar to Lamar Odom...ability to play point forward and defend multiple positions.

I don't expect him to score a ton, but he will be able to fill the box sheet.

7'3 wingspan is huge.

Still....he has limited athletic attributes.

Athletism is overrated when you talk about PGs.

The best pure points don't need 40 inch verts, just great vision.

Yes, but almost every point guard has inherent quickness that Anderson doesn't have any of. Seriously, he's a 3 in the NBA. If anyone is curious, the player you should really look up is John Johnson, probably the closest comparison to the kind of player Anderson might be.

He's not going to play point guard in the nba.

absolutely will not happen.

He may play point forward at times, but you'll never see him logging heavy minutes as the primary ball handler.

They even spoke on this last night, he will play the 3 (or small 4) at the next level.

Good call. James Johnson (Grizzlies) has a similar skillset and I was hoping he would become close to what John Johnson was.Unfortunately he busted, hard. Lebron back on his athletic prime put him on a ridiculous poster and destroyed his mojo :oldlol:
