Have you noticed how much this guy is improving?

I mean, look at his stats. Compared to last season his points per 36 mins have just rocketed 5 points! And his FG% as well has risen up by .3%

If he continues like this (which will happen easily since he is only 21) the statistics say that he will be a 25pts .46% type of player, per 36 mins.

The problem is that statistics also say that if his team keeps on reducing his minutes, in two years he will only play 5 minutes, so per game he will only score 3.4 points. And (this is the worst part) in three years he will play minus 1 minute (meaning that he will play against his own team for one minute). I think no coach will stand that and he will just be banished from the NBA.

A sad story I would say.

He's Kobe without the work ethic, shooting, court vision, post moves/general skill.

He has improved every aspect of his game except minutes played.

So he gets better as he plays less. What does that tell you?

He would be better than Michael Jordan if given 0 minutes.

Pelicans are pretty much like the mid 90s washington bullets. they have enough young talent to win a lot of games, but still won't do shit in the play-offs.
