Why isn't Memphis in the East?

I understand they were in the West because they were originally in Vancouver. But at this point they should be switched over to the East, immediately. For the geographically ignorant, Memphis is in Tennessee, which is further east than many other teams in the Eastern Conference. You can just switch Milwaukee to the West to even things out. Why not do this for next season?

Btw, imagine the eastern playoff chase if Memphis was involved. That first seed would become so important, as to avoid a tough second round match up. I don't see why it should be a big deal to just switch them over. Do it now Silver!

Mem is closer to Atl than Texas.

Memphis plays just like an East Team.

Move Mem,NO with Atl an add another team possibly move Milwaukee to St Louis
