Woo-hoo!

Please bring on Washington, Atlanta, or Charlotte, and not the Bulls or Nets (I don't think the nets are that great but that they are by far the team refs would help out/fav our the most)

Hmm.. I wouldn't mind. Just need to know when the dates are and see who's down.

I'm in Mississauga, so I just need to plan ahead of time.

not a rap fan but i'm from TO

I think they have a shot to go to 7 vs. Mia/Indy and build off that for next year. Think they have a small chance at an upset vs. Indy but it looks like they'll be in the Mia bracket.

I would say everyone outside of Toronto sports fans and media would say that were going to round 1 and getting eliminated. So in terms of most perception, we would have already achieved what most thought we would.

Let's hope the boys can make it to the 2nd round and then some. The only team I see us being a mis-match against in the East is Miami. Personally, I don't mind seeing anybody else outside of them in rounds 1 and 2.

About time. Should be able to beat the Wizards/Cats/Hawks with fair ease. But can we beat the Nets?

We will get out of the first round. The guys are too hungry to just accept making the playoffs as good enough.
Hopefully we finish the season strong and keep the confidence high going in.

Nets are the only matchup that scares me a little, and it's because of Pierce. The Nets may be old but they are loaded with vets who know how to turn it up to another level in the playoffs, whereas the Raps are a roster full of guys who have never made it to the dance before.

Nice.

Just2McFly did bring up a potential gathering. If the tickets are too expensive or already sold out, maybe we can all get together outside the ACC and watch it on the screen or even go to Real Sports Bar and Grill (right across the ACC) to check out.

Always got options.

Tickets are ridiculously expensive for the playoffs. I want to go, but questioning whether I want to shell out $100-$150 for upper bowl seats.

That's the decision to be made. I'm planning to host one of the games from each round at my house. I haven't experienced a playoff game, so want to do that this year provided I can get the tickets on time.

April 10th, 10am at Ticketmaster is when the tickets go on sale.

Possible suggestions if you want to be downtown...

Overdraught Irish Pub on Front under Canyon Creek - TVs on request the game. Quiet and small enough to talk.

Fionn McCools Front and Blue Jay Way about 5 blocks west. Again TVs on and quiet enough to have a conversation.

Reserve bar seats at Gretzky's - 99 Blue Jays Way.

I wouldnt mind getting to a game but $100.00+ a ducat for upper bowl is a little steep.

[QUOTE]Now that the Toronto Raptors have locked up a playoff spot, fans are itching to get their hands on tickets to the big dance.

But most people will have to keep waiting for their chance to snatch up post-season seats

Now I think we can take down Chicago too, I just don't want Brooklyn, the refs will just be on all their former stars wangs far too much, and KG is/used to be my most hated player in the league

Final 2 days before the regular season comes to an end, Toronto can either face 1 of these 3 teams in the first round:

http://www.brandsoftheworld.com/sites/default/files/styles/logo-original-577x577/public/092012/brooklyn_nets_secondary_logo.png

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/b/bd/Washington_Wizards_Logo.svg/539px-Washington_Wizards_Logo.svg.png

Which one wins out ? Strategy wise, if we drop to the 4th seed and Brooklyn loses it's next 2 games and Washington wins, along with Chicago winning ? Then we get a better 1st and 2nd round (Indiana) matchup.

Disregarding strategy, the Raps can keep 3rd, either Brooklyn falls and we face them and have a 1st and 2nd round (Miami) matchup.

It's all about how each team will play it out. Hoping we can get a bit of luck our way tonight and tomorrow.

Don't worry guys, this is just the beginning. I know it hurt a lot of Rap fans out there, it sucked to see all those fans outside get dejected after Game 7... but hey, it's the life of sports.

This team is going to be even better from this loss, I just know it will. Were going to have better seasons to come.
