Well retire then, without this guy OKC would have won 2012 nba finals. This guy has been possessed hitting every damn threes he shot during that series.

I don't think they care too much about your respect and I'm pretty sure the rest of the league respects them.

So many scumbags ITT. LOL at the spurs and OKC cvnts still salty that shane and the Heat defeated their team in the finals.

A Heat player could donate his entire salary to charity and you would still find a way to spin the story to fit your agenda.

Shane was more ripped at Duke than in the pro's.

Just a weird, nerdy fella all around.

A lot of guys from the Heat will be retiring or leaving at the end of this season while somebody like Ray Allen may stick around for one more season with the min vet. I'm really interested in seeing how Miami will be next season. They will for sure be much better and replace the old guys with some younger legs and fixing all the weaknesses they have.

And maybe, just maybe, whoever gets the Mike Miller contract this time around can contribute more.

About Shane, one of the best and coolest guys in the league. One of my favorites, so intelligent and genuinely nice person.

And a champ!

how can you hate Battier if you are not a Heat fan:biggums: :biggums:
only thing to hate about him is his pathetic showing the last two seasons minus Game 7 of last years finals

He seems like a dude you could drink a beer with. Point being, he is a massive dick on the court. The way he plays is so cringeworthy and frustrating.

This. I hate guys like him who just stands right outside the circle and flops at every little contact. Takes too much away from the game. Refs reward cowards like him instead of the guy who makes it to the basket.

I'm glad Kobe made him his bitch so many times in his career. Good riddance.

Are you delusional? Don't you remember how many 3's he made in 2012 finals? He was one of the difference makers, only second to the refs.

This is how I feel. Good riddance. I remember tweeting during the MIA-OKC Finals that I was actively cheering against the Heat, one of the reasons was I didn't want him to get a ring. :oldlol:

I guess I'll be in the minority (like always as a Heat fan) in missing him. He was a classy guy and a real professional. I will always appreciate his 2012 Finals and game 7 performance in the 2013 Finals. Good luck, Battier.
