And it's Miami vs Spurs in the finals.
And LeBron wins FMVP.
It'll be worse than Nash winning.

Durant was the best player in the regular season, nobody can take that away from him. He has a cast that resembles 2007 Cleveland with somehow an even WORSE coach than MB.

Yep, Durant is clearly terrible.

It'll be worse than Nash winning? Really? So now, Nash>Durant at his best?

Durant has clearly been a lot more focused, consistent, and more intent on proving a point than Lebron has, and he does deserve it.

If Miami and San Antonio met in the finals again, I would honestly not be surprised if the Spurs won in 5 games. That's how scary good they are right now and how weak Miami looks. And in Miami's case, the concerning part is that their problems don't look to be "coasting" or anything like that. They just look emotionally, mentally, and physically exhausted. And unlike 2011 or 2012, they don't seem to have the athleticism, youth, and raw energy you need to get out of it. I'm not hating at all. I think a healthy and rejuvenated Miami team would win the chip. But right now it just seems like they are a bit too old, tired, and weakened to get back there.

What does a regular season award have to do with the playoffs?

You mean like when LeBron won the MVP in 2009 and 2010, and Kobe won FMVP?

Ohhhhhhhhh. Okay.

In what way does Durant's supporting cast resemble 2007 Cleveland?

I don't know because Lebron didn't have a player as good as Westbrook on his team....

Absolutely. At least Mike Brown can coach some defense, Brooks is simply a well paid cheerleader.

It is clearly better than winning nothing at all.

Brooks is half the reason that team is successful even when they didn't have Westbrook....A coaches ability to keep the chemistry of his team in check is something that Brooks could teach Woodson...

That's what I was thinking. In no way shape or form did LeBron have a cast like Durant does now in OKC, in Cleveland.
