they were never contenders to begin with. even if they beat miami, it won't matter. it'd take a 2006 esque rigging for them to even have a shot in the finals and the nba ain't rigging shit for the team they only gave 8 national TV games this year

PG didn't make up some "inspirational" sob story.

The whole dead girlfriend thing was a storyline throughout the college football season. Hell, it propelled Te'o to being a Heisman candidate, despite being an average player at best.

He wasn't a Heisman candidate because of the dead girlfriend. He was a Heisman candidate because his team had a perfect regular season.

Don't play dumb. That story was shoved down everyone's throats throughout the year. And they played a cupcake schedule aside from a few games.

Te'o got absolutely manhandled when he had to go against those big Alabama boys (you know, actual NFL talent). I still remember Eddie Lacy putting him on his ass :roll:
