View Full Version : Indianapolis Star: "Pacers aren't slumping, they're collapsing"
This isn't a slump. A slump is a blip on the continuum, a momentary lapse, something that can be fixed with a tweak here or a correction there. A slump lasts two, three weeks, at least for an elite NBA team

They Peaked early. I think Larry Bird is gonna talk to 2 of his key players namely Paul George, and Roy Hibbert

A word about the Spurs: They are beautiful to watch, and they will win the NBA title this time around. Offensively, they are a Matisse, a Picasso; the Pacers, who stand around a whole lot, are like a finger-painting.
That is both comical, and alarmingly accurate. The Pacers offense is as remedial as a toddler's attempt at tracing.
I thought the Bulls offense was bad. The Pacers have taken offensively handicap to a whole other level.

You kidding? They're 19-16 since they went 33-7.
Slump is a few games. 35 games isn't a few games.

This. Even with a total collapse the worse they'll be is the 2 seed. Things change in the playoffs. When they get their backs against a wall they'll play with more urgency.

Yeah, but to get past miami they really need to get home court advantage.

If they have no movement it also seems like a coach/playbook problem...
Not good timing. :facepalm

That's okay. You can go 19-16 in the east and still have HCA....
What a joke.

They have the Top 2 seed secured, but really need to turn it around if they want to a Top 1 seed. I doubt they will get it, though. Maybe it's strategy, as they want an easier 1st and 2nd round opponent. :confusedshrug:
Miami's still the team to beat, though.
