If you were guaranteed to have the player for the next 7 years, and they have no major injuries (but can of course still decline etc due to age/other normal reasons), who would you start a franchise with over Steph Curry?

1. Durant
2. Davis
3. Lebron (would be higher but he's much older...still has 3 years of MVP level left tho)
4. Harden

That's it?

I would take Curry's otherworldly shooting skill before Harden without much thought.

I would too..but i might have homer bias glasses on. Harden does produce like crazy. He has a good enough team this year, so I guess we'll see his true worth in the playoffs.

Last year Steph did much better in the playoffs than anything Harden has ever done up to his career.

Curry is probably 4th after LeBron, KD, Anthony Davis

Curry vs. Harden vs. Westbrook is a good discussion.

And I actually think Curry is better than Harden but people just can't seem to say the correct reasons why.

:banghead:

I have Curry and Harden pretty even. Curry can get off his shot any time however Harden knows how to get to the line.

Harden has absolutely zero place in this discussion. Nothing doing.

I think the big question is Derrick Rose. You specified no major injuries, and he looked himself athletically after his return. And he should be fine after a meniscus injury as well. It was the rust and lack of playing time and game-conditioning that killed him. I think if I have a healthy Derrick Rose, he'd be up there.

1) Durant
2) Davis
3) Rose
4) Blake
5) Lebron (Almost 30)
6) Cousins
7) TIE Westbrook/Curry

EDIT: Holy shit how did I forget Blake..

:banghead:

i.e., You disagree with other people's opinions, and therefore their reasons are incorrect. Solid logic. Don't be so closed minded, breh.

There are a ton of players better than Curry.

Durant, Harden, Dwight, LeBron, Griffin ...just to name a few.

Harden can really do everything Curry can
maybe not shoot 3s better

Curry is a better shooter and passer. Harden is better at attacking the basket and getting to the rim.

Harden jumpshot is nasty too tho especially when hes on. Curry shot off then he aint hittin, and he cant drive at will.

8) Kyrie
9) Curry

Just because Curry is actually a year older than Durant and I still can't trust the ankles.

Edit: To be clear, I don't think he's the 9th best player, just my 9th pick for a team going forward.
