NY style pizza is not special. I don't get why so many New Yorkers act like it's so awesome and unique when it's just sh*tty american pizza. American pizza is american pizza IMO. Soft chewy crust, greasy, sh*tty ingredients.


Naples style pizza only uses fresh mozzerella, fresh sauce, REAL cured italian meats, etc, and it must be cooked at an extremely high temperature in a olive wood fired brick oven. It's crisp and it tastes like you are eating pizza high as f*ck for the first time. It's like comparing ice cream to gelato.. They are almost the same, but the real deal has so much more flavor packed into it.
