Watching the Spurs vs the Warriors...

Is frustrating as hell from the perspective of someone who wants the Spurs to lose... These teams are similar in talent but polar opposites in play style...

What the hell do the Warriors do on offense? Their offense is reckless as hell. No system in place whatsoever. Just strict iso ball and improvisation. Like OKC except they don't have the elite scoring talent that OKC has (namely Kevin Durant) to pull it off.

I swear, it is like second nature for every player on that team to work the ball around for the highest percentage look. They don't settle for shit yet they make it look so easy. Why the hell aren't more teams able to do this? Can you imagine Pop with as much talent as a team like OKC? :eek: :eek: :eek: Goddamn, I hate the Spurs. I love to watch them play because of the ball movement and offensive perfection, but I hate watching them dominate teams with similar talent that are far worse coached. No way in hell OKC should be finishing second to a team with this much less talent...

I'd argue just going far in the playoffs (WCF or Finals) is a success in it of itself.

Would be disappointing for Tim Duncan, as he's nearing retirement and won't have more chances, but losses are going to happen in this league even for the well-rounded Spurs

I agree the label is more fitting for a team that hasn't won before, but maybe came close or is expected to win. OKC is a good example (what do they do if they miss or lose in the Finals this season?). Spurs are not really expected to win though. They're riding a wave from last decade, you'd think the wave is shrinking yet it's not. Pretty impressive

No one jab-steps after picking up the dribble. It's a move from triple-threat as the drive is still an option. After picking up your dribble you can only shoot or pass.
