How many times have the Suns sat on a big lead and started letting the shot clock roll down under 5 seconds before trying to start a play(then resorting to chucking up terrible, well defended jump shot attempts with 1 second left on the clock) this year and it's cost them the lead(and the game)?

I swear to god they do this all the time. I always get nervous when they have a 10+ point lead going into the 4th quarter against a good team because they get relaxed and think they can just coast their way to wins.

This is the biggest area BY FAR that Jeff Hornacek needs to focus on improving with this team. I know he's a young coach with young players and it's a learning process with them, but this has been a problem all season long. You can't just let the time click down to less than 5 then chuck up bad jump shots. It NEVER works out for them. They would have so many more blowout wins(and so many less tough losses) if they just continued to attack the rim and play with the same pace in the 4th quarter that they did in the previous quarters. There's no reason they should've lost this game. The Clippers continued to play intense, the Suns got comfortable and coasted. They shot themselves in the foot.
