Why does Optimus Prime get his shit rocked in every movie?

It never fails, I looked at the teaser trailer and that go you know, at 1:30ish Optimus gets pulverized by a rocket. :facepalm


It would really be nice to have a movie where he's not paralyzed somehow 90% of the time.

First one was Good....2nd one Blew mad chunks.....3rd one was decent.

Cartoons were Corny....but as a kid they worked.....because talking transforming Robots are cool.
