That makes you go :wtf: damn! when you look at his stats (past or current).

- Jerry Stackhouse averaging ~30 PPG with 5 assists
- Monta Ellis shooting 53% in his third year
- Jayson Williams averaging 10 RPG in 23 MPG
- Muggsy Bogues 8.3 APG with only 1.5 TOV or 10.7 APG with 1.8 TOV
- George Yardley with 2001 total points and only 97 assists

Haha yeah. 11/7 for an all-star...Has there ever been another all-star with a PER below 15 (average)?

Melo. I see all the hate he gets on here, and think he's a 6'8" Brandon Jennings.

Then I look at his stats of 28/8/3/1/1 on 45/41/85 shooting (56 TS%) with a 25 PER, and understandably, go :wtf:

Those are MVP numbers honestly. Too bad he's a part of a bad situation.

that is impressive, smart players get to the foul line to get easy buckets. Id do the same to score. Why not if it helps you win?

MJ 1989

33/8/8 with 2.9 spg on 53,5% shooting

His best all-around season. He had that all-around game. I've watched tapes & he looked like LeBron, but with much better scoring & defense. MJ never cracked 7+ assists a game in a single season after that one. He had 7 straight triple doubles that season.

He was basically Lebron and Kobe in 1 that year with a weaker jumpshot.

Seriously brah, he had 15 triple doubles that season, Kobe has 18 for his career :oldlol:

He also had 28 games, where he had at least 10 assists.

That GOAT all-around game.

Also had a game, where he shot 24/29, but he only took 4 FTs so he "only" had 52 points.

MJ was stat padding that year. He was a better player in 90-93 for sure.

But statistically, he was at his best. Of course he was a better player when he won 3 straight in dominating fashion.

But the stats from some of his earlier seasons are just :wtf:

he had some insane statistical seasons that no one will ever duplicate.

Jason Kidd in 2006-2007

13 ppg, 9.2 apg, 8.2 rpg

8.2 rebounds per game for a PG that season (more than Shaq in Miami and 17th in the NBA)!

That's more rpg than Lebron or Durant have ever had in a season. And it's more rpg than several of the better NBA starting centers this season including Hibbert and Marc Gasol.

I almost forgot how good of a rebounder J-Kidd was. My favorite player that I've actually watched live. His court presence is felt in the stands.

That time Mike James averaged 20 ppg.

Makes you wonder what other scrubs could top 20 ppg on bad teams.

How about 6'3, 180 lbs Fat Lever in 1990? Averaged 9.3 RPG, 2.9 offensive, with 13.6 TRB% and 8.0 ORB% (Kidd had 13.2 and 5.5), 18th in the league in RPG, "only" dudes like Barkley, Hakeem, Malone(s), Rodman, Oakley, Bird, Buck Williams, Laimbeer, Ewing... ahead.

Dude doing that at that size???
