Battier comes to mind
Came to my mind, but I didn't want to list anyone because honestly this is one of those forgotten things, and there may have been much better ones in the past.

Battier is undeniably modern-era charge-taking GOAT.

Prob a top-5 Charge GOAT of any era.

Now that I think about it, Derek Fisher deserves a mention. Led the league in charges taken in '07-'08.

Cousins at #3? :biggums:
I expected Dunleavy to be at least top 3.

Pippen is the GOAT. he was the that made it popular in the 90s.
Rodman is the other one that made it popular.

If you watched any random game from the 80s, you'll see that a charge was rarely ever called if not at all. Its still very odd to me to see a charge call sometimes... sure as hell dont see it in pickup games or even intramural games

Then he gets all pissy at CP3 for flopping off him. Hypocrite :coleman:

Ben Wallace was pretty good at it back in the day.

Seems weird that tough guys like Wallace, Rodman and Artest are so willing to go down hard just to get a call.

Few know this, because he's such a low-profile player, but prepare to be enlightened:

Nick Collison of the Thunder consistently leads the entire league in charges taken.

Collison is clearly the greatest charge-taker in decades.

are taking charges and not flopping, mutually exclusive? :confusedshrug:

Lowry is leading the league this seson. Battier was always good at it.

All time we must mention Ginobili, Pippen and Divac.

:biggums:

CP3 is a floppy little b1tch. And last I checked, taking a charge was a legitimate basketball play

I was expecting prime Nash to be mentioned. He took about a charge per game. It was just about the only thing he could do on defense: not move.
