There might be something wrong with the process. Usually the gov't pays back the refund check ASAP so they won't pay a potential interest fee or w/e, even if the refund amount is incorrect(you'll just have to pay later)

I only got back 572

If you're a dependent, single and don't have any credits then yea you'll most likely get minimal $ back. 572 ain't that bad though.. I feel for alot of the teenagers/young adults who make over $10k and have to pay $ back because they don't have any credits, dependents and they made "too much".

I just mailed my Fed in last night. I'm getting back almost 900 bucks, which is significantly less than last year, although I didn't make as much money as the year prior as well.

State I filed electronically and am getting back almost two hundred bucks.
