I believe they have what, 3 picks in this years draft? max money to spend and still having guys on low contracts.

Could have a great top 5 race next season.

Making the playoffs this year could just be an added bonus.

Yeah they've got great flexibility with cap space and picks going forward. A great position to be in. Going to be fun to watch. Scary thing is the top 5-6 teams in the West could all be even better than they are this year.. maybe with the Spurs being an exception and staying like they are now.

Honestly the model franchise for any professional sports team, period.

Hopefully they sign Gay, then we can be rid of him

I hope they don't get Love though, really need a good defensive anchor in the post. Besides, the max cap thing is a little overblown when eventually all the extensions come along.

Johnson, Gay and Smith are losers, they only play for the money.

Just like the Rockets last season, bunch of young talent, picks, and space...... They're better than we were last year...BUT, LA is going to "overpay" for Bledsoe this off-season. That's what all the talking heads say.

And Suns have said they will match any offer from the sounds...even if they re-sign him for the max, they still have room for another.

They should try to sign Greg Monroe

they have the young talent. They need a good veteran to right them the positive direction.

Suns plan is so easy moving forward -- if they screw this up Im going to be pissed.

Re-sign, draft.

If they draft well they will be true contenders in 1-3 years.

That's it.

Whose picks do they have?

Their own, Pacers (top 14 protected), Wizards (top 12 protected), and the Wolves (top 13 protected).

So for sure they will have their pick, the Pacers, and Wizards. Very unlikely they will get the Wolves' pick, tho.

We are looking at, what? Maybe 15, 17, and 27 or something like that? Not bad.

Still have Alex Len, who I assume is still a part of the future? He was the #5 pick this past draft and he doesn't play.

Too many rookies. Suns have enough depth + young talent. Rookies need time on the court to develop.

Suns are fools if they don't try to move picks for a guy like Kevin Love.

thats actually pretty good. If they throw big dollars at Monroe, would Detroit have it in them to match? I honestly think they would take the entire time to decide and ultimately decide to match (which is the smart move)

Suns would be fools not to move picks for a major impact player on both ends of the court.

That option is not available. Suns fans know where Kevin Love would take this team. We've been there before, not good enough.
