in this case, "more money" means extreme wealth. like top 1% of americans. what problems (if any) do you currently face in your life that money could either directly or indirectly solve and why?

Death
Yep, we all have to die...
Money delays death though...in most cases anyway
In the distant future money may actually be able to cure the aging process

Actually, more money would solve all my problems....**** :lol
I was trying to think of something that wouldn't benefit with some more money, but literally everything would. My relationship with my father would be a lot better because he would stop working so much, I wouldn't stress about finishing my degree and working, everyone in your circle would have you as first choice to ball with considering you got a lot to flaunt and are always gonna be going home with something...

Death isn't a problem you face, it's an inevitability.
How are the two mutually exclusive? Sure it's a problem, it gets in the way of my perpetual existence.

Immortality is worse than death.
How would you know?

Are you saying you'd be fine with the fact that you'd never die/age? What about watching all the people you know die as you keep living? What about every single day being the exact same after awhile? Would that not drive you insane? What if people caught on? Being "alive" doesn't mean you don't feel pain. What if the government caught you and experimented? What if that was your life?
Immortality is overrated. I know because clearly I'm a vampire.
People will die as I keep living anyways. And history is always changing, technology is advancing. Life will never be static. And obviously if my life was horrible then living a horrible life indefinitely would suck, but I mean so is torture for a mortal.

how is that a problem? even if you simply set in a room and watched tv for eternity it would be pretty gratifying to witness the changes overtime. to see all curiosities answered. unless you are a believer of the afterlife, i dont see the issue.

i'm a little different than some of you guys. dying isn't really a big deal to me. i'm relatively young and have already accepted the fact that someday i'll die. that isn't really an everyday problem for me though. do you guys wake up everyday regretting the fact that someday you'll no longer be alive? sounds depressing.

well of course if i had something like dick cancer and had to get it chopped off i would feel awful. but the idea of not being alive doesn't scare me because death is inevitable. i would rather be rich and have "life threatening problems" than be poor and have those same problems.

I'm socially awkward and that wouldn't change with money. :confusedshrug:
I've been blessed that that is my biggest struggle. But that struggle wouldn't change with money.
And I had the opportunity to go into a career that makes $120,000 more a year than what I do right now and I passed it up. So in a way I already made this decision.

True but then I would know they are just there for the money, which wouldn't feel good and won't solve it.

i understand that, but look at it this way: the end result is the same. if a girl who only wants you for your money does the exact same things a girl who genuinely loved you would do, then really what is the difference? you can only infer people's motives based on their actions. you can't read their thoughts.

true, it couldn't make you taller necessarily, but any advantages being tall could get you (except like playing in the nba) money get you.

When I envision myself winning the lottery, I first think about all the family member, friends, coworkers that will want a piece of the earnings, and constantly be known as the guy that won the lottery who people can take advantage of. After I contemplate these dreadful thoughts for a few minutes I think about the things I could buy and sometimes think the money and the fame associated with the winnings isn't worth it.

you could move far away from your family. or just tell them to **** off. it's not hard to avoid people.
