There could still be a competitive ECF if the Pacers don't make it.

Yeah, I'm panicking because I want an entertaining series and not just the Heat raping garbage teams on the way to the finals again? Get the fvck out of here. :facepalm

Raptors could make it competitive if they get that far. Raptors and Heat are the top 2 teams in the 4 quarter differential.

That might make for a great series. I really want them playing the Heat because of Pierce and Garnett's hatred for Lebron.

At their current seeding, it's not possible.

Pacers literally blowing everything they worked for all season long. Wow, has any team in recent history imploded this badly before the playoffs?

I should have mentioned in the East.

Toronto is #1, San Antonio is #2, and Miami is #3.

Indiana is #5, by the way.

Will lose to Toronto or Chicago in the first round.

Of the top 4 seeds in the East, the Pacers are currently the only one without a winning road record. They NEED home court advantage bad.

I think someone should tell the owner of the Pacers that it is a little too late to be tanking for a high draft pick...

my god, they are just awful...

I don't know what is going on but at this moment they would lose to the Bobcats in the first round if they don't shake things off.
I think that even with all their recent struggles, if they find a way to make to the ecf they can still give the Heat a run for their money. But it's most likely that Heat will cruise to another finals.

relax everyone. heat and pacers are head and shoulders above everyone else in the east, and the ECF will be a 7 game series between them.

pacers will have two 6 game series on the way though

No one knows. I will say this, the playoffs are a whole different animal. It's been proven time and time again. Teams get rest between games, they can make adjustments, more time to recovery, easier to give yourself to the game and your best.
