Still shot 11/25. :oldlol:

A PF shooting under 50% for the season will never be the best at his position, period.

Seriously.

Blake Griffin and Kevin Love shit on Aldridge this year. No contest.

Yeah Davis won the other match ups but Aldridge delivered when the game really mattered. They were doubling Aldridge hard all night too.

I'm convinced Anthony Davis is going to be the best PF in the league in a few years. He's too good on both ends of the floor. His health is a major concern. If he's healthy I'd take him over any big right now. He needs to get stronger too. His body can't handle the 82 game season.

Davis 27/12/5 against Aldridge earlier this season on 18 shots. LA had 28 on 25 shots:

Davis scores 21(13 shots) to LA's 18 (24 shots):

Jeez what's with people suddenly disregarding LMA now? Blame his coach for offensive inefficiency...LMA used to work closer to the basket and more often inside but Portland's coach has made him more of a jump-shooter, but either way when a guy can average 24/11 it shouldn't be a joke to put him in top PF conversation :facepalm

To put him in top is one thing, to say he's the best, is false.

23.3/11.1/2.6/0.9/1.1 on 45.9% shooting and 20.6 shots per game while the second highest boards is at 8.6.
24.0/9.6/3.8/1.1/0.6 on 52.9% shooting and 17.0 shots per game while playing with the associations leading rebounder at 13.8.

Is that even that close? He scores less while taking 3.6 more attempts on a lower percentage. More rebounds but look at the difference between the rebounding teammate.

Then you have the following lines:
26.0/13.3/4.4/0.8/0.5 on 46.1% shooting and 18.6 shots per game while second highest boards is at 8.7
20.9/10.1/1.6/1.3/2.8 on 52.3% shooting on 15 shots per game while second in boards is at 6.5

He takes two more shots than the second most attempts and scores the third most points, out of four.

So sure, say you can make a minimal argument for him, but that is as far as it goes.

We'll he did score 27 on 9 shots, but no, I wasn't being literal.

are you guys seriously not going to mention AD playing through back spasms and requiring treatment after the 1st quarter?

Davis is overrated. There I said it.
He was playing injured. AD has dominated LMA before...

Anthony Davis started the game much like he had before the recent injuries had hit. He was moving well and scoring from all over the floor. In the first quarter alone, he had 11 points and 3 rebounds. Sadly, his back tightened up after his initial stint on the floor because for the rest of the game he only managed to add 4 points and 2 rebounds to his totals. Throughout most of the game he was seen grimacing, especially after a hard fall in the 4th quarter. I'll say it again, why is the team continuing to play him when he's not 100%?
