in all honesty. I actually miss him too. The league would of been better with a healthy Bryant. One that can light the scores up. Sad.

Seeing as Durant is literally a better scorer than Kobe in every facet of the game...although he doesn't chuck like Bryant I guess, so there's that. Which is the only reason Kobe had all those 50/60 point games.

No disrespect for KD, but KB24 is way more exciting player.

Kobe has been in the league every since I started watching nba basketball(95-96)... I don't know the nba without Kobe... I may actually shed a tear when he decides to hang it up for good

This thread has nothing to do with how good a player is/was. Kobe was 1000000x more fun to watch than Durant.

Top 10, arguably 7, versus top 50 arguably 40. And even that is being generous

As a scoring machine he's way more exciting to watch than Durant.
I'm a Lebron fan, and i find Kobe the next most exciting player to watch besides Lebron in this league.

He had (has?) a certain flair KD doesn't and that one can miss, but KD is the better player.

Miss him too. He was fun to watch. He didn't shy away from the big moment, nor did he flop his way to many FTs

Kobe had the Allen Iverson effect on low IQ fans.
I like to watch winning basketball. Durant and Westbrook are more exciting than Kobe ever was, and it's not too close.
You guys are nerds, nostalgia geeks.

Except Kobe led teams to b2b titles & 3 straight Finals appearances, which KD & Russ have never done.

Great to see fans of other teams showing respect, this is how you know you have a true Miami fan and not a LeBron fan.
I will also miss Chalmers when he retires:(

You have to take into account the amount of shots that gets attempted to get to X attempts.
With that said, Durant + ref thing is way overblown he is just a very skilled player that is doing a helluva a job to get to the line.

it depends on what you define as winning basketball, winning basketball as in winning a bunch of regular season games? or winning basketball as in winning rings. because one of these two choices okc won't be doing for a long time.
