View Full Version : Kentucky College team could realistically beat a few NBA teams

Im sick of people overrating the NBA. If they were so "godly", they wouldnt lose (or even come close) to euro teams , fiba games , world games, friendlies, etc.
This current Kentucky squad could beat a few NBA teams who happen to be on off nights. Philly, Milwaukee, Minny, Orlando, and a couple others would all be BISCUITS for Kentucky on any given night.
Dont even get me started on the Boozer/Battier/JWill Duke squads

How many NBA stars are on Kentucky? Randle? Who else?
Sorry, 9 times out 10 they are still losing to Milwaukee unless the Bucks are losing on purpose to get imaginary lottery balls.

Kevin love would drop 60-20-10 on Kentucky and then publicly release his bodily waste on the head of Julius Randle at center court and be banned from the NCAA forever.
empty stats might drop 60 but he cant handle Randle on defense either. no way.

This exact same scenario was discussed with the Davis-MKG-Lamb-etc team... Pretty much everyone agreed they wouldn't be able to win an NBA game and if they can't, this current Kentucky team sure as hell can't.

are you retarded?
It's Dizzle. If you've taken note of his many posts over the years, it's quite possible.
No. Kentucky's current team would be lucky to keep a game within 15 vs ANY NBA team. It would be a slaughter.

NCAA squads are fill with white guys who will never sniff NBA ball. Stop overating college ball, americans.

I always thought that the Walton Bruin teams could have beaten some NBA teams, and I suspect the Worthy, Perkins, MJ Carolina teams probably could have, too.

This. If Kentucky played 82 games against NBA teams.... they might have 2 wins if they're EXTREMELY lucky.

Hell, they lost to a South Carolina team that went 14-20...
I wonder how many "lottery picks" will come from that team?
Kentucky's '12 team could beat the sixers this year.

:kobe: What the ****.
If it wasn't for one shot by Harrison, my Badgers would've beat them. They would get demolished on a nightly basis in the NBA.
Also, the TWolves? Really? Love would average 40/20 against those kids.

How bout that Kaminsky dude. He had a really Nowitzki-like game vs Kentucky right? lol

The Bucks would beat the best college team by 60 or more.

Yeah, yeah, I'll take that sarcasm. But if we're going to dismiss Jabari's shitty outing in the tournament or Wiggins's piss poor elimination game, Frank should get a pass. Kentucky played him tough, and bad games happen. Very few people had us getting within one point of the championship game, but we did it. Frank was a huge part of that.

I'll give the Badgers credit for that. I didn't see them get to the final four at all so props to them for getting there :applause:

These dudes don't get paid millions for nothing, it's because they are professional at the best league, each handpicked from the colleges. They might not give a fukk on some night because of a variety of reasons but when they try, these college kids don't stand a chance. Let's real:facepalm

How could they when the starting 5 on Kentucky would be marginal bench players in the NBA. Randle being not that special in the pros.

People don't realize alot of mediocre players/ avg players were all stars/dominated the college level smh
The NBA should try it though. Bring one of the best team statistically into the NBA for 82 games. I would love to see a team lose get embarrassed.
