PF: Serge Ibaka/Amir Johnson
SF: Landry Fields/Giannis Antetokumpo
SG: Kobe Bryant/MarShon Brooks/Jodie Meeks/Xavier Henry
PG: Jeremy Lin/Shaun Livingston.

Pretty much took the team and rebuilt in one off-season.


UPDATE: Kendall Marshall,Xavier Henry, and 2nd rounder gone in exchange for Andray Blatche and Shaun Livingston.

It's NBA 2K14. Not real life. I transformed a bad team in to a great team legitly and Jeremy Lin is a very good shooter.

I've got it set up so Lin is the first option, no more Iso Kobe ball.

Also, Giannis is rated 62 Overall in 2k14 so i traded for him so he can develop off the bench until Kobe retires.

My team would smash your team though.

Great rim protection and good spacing, enough for Lin to get in the lane and Kobe isn't thrown off his usual game. Solid bench and some veteran leadership, seems like a good team to me.

Frontcourt depth is lacking a bit (Ryan Kelly as C?) but it's pretty impressive for just 1 offseason's work. Did you have to trade away all your draft picks though

Not really, I actually traded this year's first rounder (will probably suck since i dont plan on losing much) and got a better pick in return, just got rid of a couple of second rounders and a future 1st at best.

And at C maybe I can work for a trade with Xavier Henry for a decent C or check and see if anybody decent is in free agency since we've got some cap open.

hell I used to play association mode but would take out all the scrubs and put in the past stars and all stars

Lowest Rated player would be high 70s,low 80s
on every team and would play friends with Dream Team lineups against each other

Yeah right your team would get smashed by anybody who knows how to play defense propley.

You have no shooters, no elite ball handlers, no inside scoring.

All you have is good interior defense..

I've got an elite point guard with westbrooke esque athleticism

Kobe, Iggy who can shut down your Kobe and get buckets also.

Gortat/Speights/Davis/Mahini hit the boards like they might get amnistied if they don't

Then Hinrich, Danny Green & Buddinger come off the bench all providing great D at their position and all of them are snipers..

This thread made me want to try seeing what I can do with the Lakers team on MyGm for fun. In 1 hr I got:

PG: Tony Parker/Norris Cole
SG: Kobe Bryant/Jodie Meeks/ An. Harrison
SF: Andrew Wiggins/ Giannis
PF: Kevin Love / Julius Randle
C: Anthony Davis / Festus Ezeli

I even had the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 14th and 18th pick in the 2014 draft at one point. No force trades.

That 2k trade system :oldlol:

i did one the other day and my only trade was pau gasol for ervan ilsyava (sp) & 1st rounder, ended up being a top 8 pick i think. i also made it to the semis, as a 2nd seed against golden state and lost in 6, not bad. and drafted a 82 over all rookie sf.

Sixers, Bucks and Jazz for example, always seem to want to give theirs away for some reason. Attaining cap room and attaining picks is not hard and is the easiest way to build a mega team on 2K.
