Cell phone hacked question

This morning i got a message on my phone of something like "unauthorized attempt to breach phone" or something along those lines. I don't remember the exact wording.

I ignored it thinking nothing happened or was wrong.

Now i got some flashing download signal in the upper left corner(downward arrow with line underneath), at the same time of some call from Conyers, GA that turned on my voice google. Unless i accidentally hit the wrong button checking my emails which i don't think i did.

Its a Note 3. Any idea whats going on, and what i should do? I mean even if he hacks it he'd only get my email which doesn't really have anything i am worried about in it. There isn't much he could get from my phone if he could see everything on it i figure....

its a rather new phone and i'm still familiarizing myself to most of it btw.

I got a virus I think as well not to long ago. From downloading game roms on my phone for the emulator. Maybe one had a virus. Could of been that.

in fact i just got this phone like a month ago~

i've barely even surfed the net on it at all, mostly just phone calls/txts. only places i've surfed are here, cnn, and a kpop site.

thing that is making me paranoid is i got this downloading blinking signal in the upper left corner of the phone. its been doing this since my google voice came on. I hit the close all programs button and its not taking it out either.

i might have to check with AT&T or the Note 3 forums i guess. It definitely doesn't seem right.

other than the ones that came preinstalled from AT&T, i downloaded a Cpaymobile app for credit card processing on it and honestly thats it. like i said i tried to download a flashlight app yesterday but it didn't go thru, well it took me to some register thing.

one thing that i should mention is ever since i got it this stupid magazine app update(preinstalled) kept popping up every so often. thats honestly it.

just checked uner 'downloaded applications' button and only thing that shows is the Cpay mobile app.

just thought about it. it could be where my laptop is infected with a virus or hacked and it got transferred to my phone? is that possible? since i did have it hooked in trying to download that flashlight app.

well i called ATT and they reset the network to my phone and it fixed the problem. i'm still paranoid why i got that message tho.
