dominate the courts in my town. Finally beat my giant dad at 1v1. I was a swimmer as kid so i don't have the tough knees to deal with an NBA schedule even if I got back into peak condition (I'm 6'0, 6'3 winspan, 175lbs currently)

I would drop out of school, and spend the next 2 years conditioning, lifting, eating right, and doing everything else possible to get my body to an elite athletic level. Outside of physical conditioning, I would also watch film like a madman, and work on every skill possible to round out my game.

I would become a top 10 PG in the NBA, and cash check after check.

I'm already a borderline NBA-level talent. With Steph's shooting ability and 2 years of intense work, I'd be a superstar without a doubt.

With non NBA handles and defense? Become a spot-up shooter I guess

I love how OP is stupid enough to think you can just 'pickup' a complicated ability acquired through half a lifetime of tireless repetition, hardwork and understanding... Curry's shot isn't something you could wake up with anymore than you could wake up with Muhammad Ali's knowledge how to box.

No shit. It's the same as me saying what if you woke up with superpowers or some shit. It's hypothetical. It's not real. Old fvck.

I would completely dominate my high school team. Just shoot it from 25 feet until the D is forced to play me out there then drive right by them.

Oh look, Jameer talking bout losing someone's virginity. :facepalm

Stephen Curry's shooting ability could be attained if you put some work in your game. You don't have to wake up then magically acquire his shooting.

No, it's more like saying you woke up with the acquired experiences of a veteran brain surgeon... it's not a superpower, it's something that takes experience, time and tireless drive and focus to learn. If you want Steph Curry's shooting ability go out and get it, it isn't a superpower. You can't get it without sacrifice, you can't just "wake up" with it.

Either way it's a hypothetical situation that you are bitching about. Go back to watching irrelevant 60's players.

I'm not 6' so my Curry skills would be directly applied to pickup/rec league

Get into perfect shape, start playing scrappy, unrelenting, borderline dirty defense ala Patrick Beverly. Then I'd have to just be a spot up shooter on offense because my handles will never be at a high level, but that would be fine if I'm nailing 25 footers with consistency. If I did all those things, with Curry's shooting, I think it should be enough to realistically get my white ass a backup spot on a team oversees and/or in the D league
