still 6 min left in the game and it's only a 14 pt game on the road, Kings could hit a couple of shots & Scotty will sub him in

It's not like he was averaging 35 ppg on incredible efficiency during that "phony" streak, either...

let's get real here...give Drummond 25 FGAs per night, and with him proving he is a 60% shooter, ...and we would be talking about 41 consecutive 40+ point games...

What I learned from today's game is that the Thunder haven't been blowing teams out frequently enough if his streak lasted this long.

34.4ppg on .518/.401/.866 (0.648TS%) isn't too bad. :confusedshrug:

I thought I was obviously being facetious, but I do apologize to those who thought I was ripping KD.

He has been sensational all season, and even moreso in his last 42 games...

how da *** is Drummond gonna get 25 put backs a night?

just like Bran Jamie can't get 25 lay ups a night... if these efficiency whores could get 25 fga's a night at 60% what is stopping them? oh yeah... they can't.

See, the thing is, there are some folks out there that honestly believe that since a guy is shooting 60%, albeit on 8 FGAs per night, that if he took 25 FGAs a night, that he would still be shooting 60% on them...

What's the record for 23 point games?

Good post...and yes, someone has to hold it.

Same with 15+ point games, 10+ point games, and 5+ point games.

Someone has to hold those "streak" records, and they should be remembered for it...

Of course, ESPN will not count anything in the Wilt era,...

then it just becomes a question of, were those records set pre-merger, or pre-1980, or pre-MJ, or post-MJ, etc., etc....

Keno

what's the streak for one point and zero points. that would be pretty cool.
