[for salvation from LeBron's embarrassing run as best player]
[That was shameful last night. With a chance to win the game and end the Brooklyn sweep, Lebron's true colors show once again.]
With King James on his back and 10 seconds left in the game, LeBron finds himself with the ball and the game in his hands as he attacks the defenders.
http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/a488/Lakersfan424/lbj_1_zpse6ee94bd.png
But wait! King James passes to Peasant Lewis, 43%fg and 49 non 3fgm all season, who finds himself triple teamed under the basket!
http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/a488/Lakersfan424/lbj_2_zps8b9b8769.png
Thankfully the King gets the ball back and with a second chance he won't make that mistake again(until the next game) and he takes it strong to the basket. How will the Chosen One fare, instead of going against Pierce/JJ at the rim, now against Plumlee?
http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/a488/Lakersfan424/lbj_3_zpsf0354bdd.png
What a play by Plumlee, as the heroic King rushes to get another chance at saving his people...
wait...
http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/a488/Lakersfan424/lbj_04_zps708fbd2b.png
The King only looks on in disbelief as the Nets actually play out the clock and win the game.
But let's go back, that had to be a foul right?!
Lebron catches the ball in the lower defensive box and gathers in the restricted area.

Plumlee defends well - watch his fingers

Block is made, his pinky and ring finger block the ball

This is so stupid.
Lewis had an open lay-up on the left side of the basket, but i guess he got a little nervous and made a bad decision and didn't take it and tried to go to the other side of the basket.
But instead of having good basketball knowledge and attacking that, you completely ignore that and blame Lebron :facepalm

Lebron is a big, whinny, annoying baby. Instead of fouling immediately (they were down by 1 and there were still 4 seconds left on the clock), he acted like a spoiled brat who lost his favorite toy. And btw, he held Plumlee's hand after the clean block to make it seem like there was more contact than there actually was.

Disagree. That was not a good basketball play by Lebron. Lewis did not have a layup, because they wanted and were expecting him to get the ball. And I'm glad you brought this up, because this is one of the things I wanted to discuss.
Look at the positioning of Pierce and JJ as they defend Lebron in the first picture. They want him pass to Lewis, because if Lebron crosses a backpedaling Pierce to his strong hand he would get a dunk then if JJ comes to help then Lewis would get a dunk.
It is not the best play to immediately pass out of a double instead of attacking it. Especially when you are a 6'8 260 best player in the league monster in transition passing to a far inferior player to a shot he is not comfortable with at all.

He got fouled twice in that play. First foul was before the dunk attempt.
And listen to yourself. He blocked with him his pinky :lol

And get called for a charge if one of the defenders flops? It has happened to him before in close games. LeBron passing to Lewis was the perfect play and any other player on the Heat would've finished it. He hesitated and that's when 3 Nets players descended upon him. Even better would've been a pass to the trailing and wide open Chalmers.

You've probably never heard of this as a Lebron fan, but there is this magical and mystical place called "mid-range" where good players don't hesitate to shoot from or get closer to the basket and finish the play with a "floater" to avoid a charge.
Here's an example of a successfully executed mid-range jumper to win a game:

are you serious? the reach in by JJ is such minor contact that happens on nearly every possession. No way that is called... Not even Lebron himself would be making that argument.
And yes, it doesn't matter that Plumlee hit palm/wrist arm afterwards because he blocked the ball first.

Weak argument. Foul's a foul and I've seen reach-in fouls get called all the time.

Ah, so Plumlee blocked Lebron with his pinky. Dat super strength :applause:

Yes, he was. In basketball, you don't get 30 ft of space. Lewis had enough space to get to the rim, with the defenders concentrating on LeBron. That's called as being open.
in this frame his is starting his gather and his weight mostly on his back foot but being transferred forward, not able to shoot yet, front foot not on ground

Once again, Lewis was under the rim. He could've easily dunked it. The moment he hesitated was when the Nets collapsed on him. He overthought it and missed a good shot.
If Lewis shoots there JJ going to block or fore the miss of Lewis who is primarily a jumpshooter and not good at finishing at the rim.
First of all, Lewis has about 5 inches on JJ and JJ is a horrible defender. He even fouled LeBron on the very next play. Lewis taking that shot would've either resulted in 2 points or 2 FT's. Not question.
nope I want him to cross over pierce to his strong hand and attack. Then the defense would be out of position to defend against a Lewis layup instead of being in good position like the way this turned out.
