Didn't get anywhere near the playtime I wanted out of this. Definitely double dipping. I ran through the game on easy, started on hard, but said screw it I want the dlc, and the dlc didn't come out until feb. So glad I traded it in. The frame rate at times was pathetic, especially when aiming... the vaseline filtering didn't do much for me either. Still loved the game, best story I've ever played in a game by far, and I almost bought the 60 dollar deal for tlou left behind dlc plus game on psn in feb, so glad I skipped it.

Big opportunity for this game if it launches in june or july. Those two months have nothing slated to my knowledge, except for soul suspect in early june. I'll also be interested to see if they do an uncharted trilogy remaster, announced at e3.

I think ESO is June as well (for PS4), but I'll bet most who play that will do so on PC.

Oh yeah. Will be interesting to see how that works out. Not an mmo fan personally, but love the elder scrolls. If it wasn't 15 a month, and I had to buy the game for 80 dollars after taxes, I would be more likely to get it.

I will buy it a second time just because I loved it. But seeing as I didn't get the opportunity to play the DLC, I'm looking at paying 4 for that, and a few perks added.

It does feel that way. I'm sure there is a demand for this game on the PS4 as well but I read lots of people buying a PS3 at the end of its life cycle primarily for this game. Unless those people had zero plans to buy a PS4, they got screwed.

Stoked. Bought it for PS3, but at one point during "winter" the game kept on freezing after each death, so i traded it in for D3 i think.

so im definitely getting this for ps4. I havent gotted a 4 yet, because the lack of games. if this comes out within the next month or so, i guess its time i pick one up

According to this brief GI article, which has other links in it, a possible discount for people who purchased the game for the PS3 is being discussed. It would be nice. Although it feels like it'd be tricky logistically. That seems to be part of the hesitation.

I'm actually still considering doing that but also playing all of the PS3 classics (Uncharted series, Heavy Rain, etc.) that I missed out on because I have a 360.

I will be getting this. I bought it and beat it on PS3 and I was blown away by the graphics as well as the overall gameplay. I never even got to play it online.

According to this, the price has been officially dropped from 60 bucks to 50 bucks.

Not much, but it's probably a middle ground to trying to resolve the nightmare of figuring out who actually owned it on PS3. Especially for those of us who prefer a physical disc copy.

It sounds like they were at one point considering really screwing people who preordered digitally at the original 60 dollar price, but now they're issuing a 10 dollar credit to those people.

Personally I'd be getting it either way.

Yeah, for me you could've thrown in the Assassin's Creed Black Flag, which I could've played a virtually identical version on PS3, and just yesterday I pulled down the two Pixeljunk Shooter games remastered, which look awesome by the way, and are free with your PS+ membership, so I totally encourage anyone to check them out.

So basically other than enjoying Infamous moderately, I could've done everything so far on my PS3.

And I'll add the Tomb Raider remastering to the list of top level PS4 games that were totally available in a terrific version on the PS3.

I feel the same way. The Last Of Us was a sublime game so playing it remastered on PS4 is something I'm looking forward to.

I also feel GTA V on PS4 is the experience Rockstar always wanted the players to have. The game looks so much more populated and vibrant now they've doubled the amount of in game AI. The PS3 version looked good but the early footage I've seen on PS4 the game now looks incredible.

GUYS! GameStop is doing this thing where you can trade in your PS3 copy of The Last of Us and get a $25 credit towards TLoU for the PS4. Since it's only 50 bucks, that's half of it covered right there.

I didn't get a chance to play through the DLC, so that's enough reason for me to buy it. Not to mention the improved overall game and a better online experience on the PS4.

This is the first game since Mass Effect 2 that I feel like when I played 5 hours, I can look at the clock and see I didn't even play 2. So tense, so much happening absolutely great pacing in that regard.

Yeah the MP is a blast. Reminds of Gears of War. Give me a slow paced and methodical game over a twitch shooter any day of the week.

I'm probably closing in on the end of the Left Behind episode. I wasn't even sure if I was going to replay the whole thing at the moment, but just playing through Left Behind has gotten me all revved up.

Some pretty intense firefights in Left Behind. And tied in with the platforming and character moments with Riley it's been really excellent.

I've never played any of the multiplayer on this. I may give that a try next. I'm typically not a big multiplayer fan, but Uncharted's is one of the few I spent substantial time with.

i didnt play much of the MP on ps3, but its one of my current favorite MP games on the 4. its sooooo much fun, and actually involves team work/ strategy. i only have one other buddy that plays this right now, but 2 other ones should be getting it soon. so having a team of 4 actual friends with me for supply raid/survivor is going to bring hours of fun.

I got it today. My local Gamestop had a deal where you could trade in a game, if it was on the list, and get TLOU Remastered for €9.99. Traded in BF 4 since I've only played it four or five times since I got it in February. Never played it before, so this is a pure bargain.

Played about 3 hours today and so much has happened. Very fun.

So made it from the hotel lobby all the way to the University, the feels train been hitting me hard doe. The Shorty is probably one of my favourite guns right now too along with the bow and rifle.

I just entered the dormitory and jumped into a Spore room filled with Clickers and a Bloater, said NOPE and called it a night :oldlol:

This game is gripping and stressful, I'm too emotionally invested in the characters and I actually feel like I'm there. I'm taking the time to read all of the notes and shit it's making me feel really immersed in the world. I read the the college students note in the dormitory and it hit me hard because I'm in college and it really made me start thinking how f*cked I'd be if that were me, I actually went "Ohhh shit" outloud, never happens.

Me too. Guess you're better at these type of games than me :P

I love games with stealth, I remember going through the checkpoint with Ellie and I choked out all the motherf*ckas in that building. But if I have to keep restarting sometimes I'll be more aggressive while still trying to conserve my shit. Unless it's Clickers, I spray and pray.

I really want to try Grounded but I know it's going to f*ck my face.

lol you guys are ******* for playing on normal. You gotta play it on grounded mode. 1 headshot kills you, no listen mode, fewer resources, fewer checkpoints, etc.

Seriously though, I found normal to be a bit too easy for a game like this. Hard with listen mode turned off is probably the perfect balance. Grounded is fun but you'll die literally hundreds of times.

Gonna play through left behind, take a day break then beat the main story on normal +. Then I'm probably gonna try and tackle it on survival then Grounded.

I hate the shorty.

But grounded has no listening mode? Man I love that shit that's how I beat the final mission basically.:lol

It's saved my life a couple of times, it's great a gun if you know when to use it.

I'm having so much fun on the MP atm but I'll do the story again soon.

It's gonna be rough when that Destiny come out in a few weeks.

I did. To be honest it's a mixture of Borderlands and Halo. If I had to score it I would give it a 8.5 or 9 out of 10.

Just started Survival, shit is stressful as f*ck and the supplies are mad scarce.

Just got to the part where you're supposed to drop Ellie off in Boston but all the fireflies are dead. You REALLY have to be stealthy in this difficulty because you have to conserve everything, which is that much harder because Runners and Clickers can detect you much easier.

The hardest part is definitely the beginning of winter when you're holding off the infected with David. The rest of it isn't too bad if you manage your supplies well. You can stealth through a pretty good portion of the game, although there are a few times when you have to kill everyone in the area to move forward. And remember, the brick/bottle melee combo is your best friend on the harder difficulties. Same with the bow and arrow. Only use guns as a last resort so you'll have ammo for the forced combat encounters (like Tommy's dam).

Tried my best not to shoot a single bullet, I stealthed some sections in survivor that I didn't in normal, right now I'm about to sneak into the High School but I wish I had more arrows.
