3. my idea: since we have trouble getting posters to join i think of a 8 man tournament with 2 groups, semis and final.
4. some posters are online on a daily basis like me jasi sajo alen so i hope you guys join, others can join
5. ideas for the draft are welcomed, i propose a 90s born players draft or a simple EPL draft
6. it takes 2 minutes to vote and pick a player it's not like it will ocupy 2h a day if you join ( in b4 'you are pathetic get a life' )

well easter has the same date this year for both eastern and western, not to celebrate but many will be out.

if you want we can start tomorrow and make a 3 day break from friday to monday ( anyway in the weekends there are less posters online especially on the offcourt lounge ).

i guess we are done. all posters are online often and know football so no need to get to 16 just to get 3-4 posters that will quit as i explained in the OP


2 groups of 4, top two teams go to the semis with players born at least in 01.01.1990. players are judged on the current season performance, and the ones that were injured more than 5 months are not eligible ( ex. gundogan ). i think he's the only one that may be picked.



the draft will start officially start Monday.

after we finish the current tournament i will make a random snake draft format consisting in 15 rounds ( 11+3 subs+1coach ). this means wednesday.

as iamgine said you can pick at any point if you want if you are next but it will officially start monday.

exemple:


1. kurple
2. sajo
3. alen

if kurple wants he can pick any time he wants thursday, friday or even on easter sunday. then sajo can do the same thing.


if alen dosn't have time or doesn't want to he can pick when the draft starts monday and he is on the clock.


pretty simple, we did the same thing in the last ones and it was ok.

Idk about the evaluation, we are talking of young stars who are mostly prospects (who of them has already peaked? I guess noone peaks before 24 except Bojan :D).
SO I would judge based on upside, not only on current performance e.g. Pogba can become a Top 5 player in the world but now he obvioulsy isn't.
I would like to factor that in.

i want to hear other opinions. i think a 75% current ability and 25% potential ability as we judge is ok.


for example: alen halilovic and kevin de bruyne.

de bruyne is way better than halilovic based on current ability but halilovic's potential is way bigger.

100% current ability
or
everyone judge how they want to

I guess we either focus entirely on current ability ("what if they played NOW?") or entitely on potential ("what if everyone on the pitch was at his peak?").

A mix of the two would mess up things imo.

if we do it based on potential we will argue to death about players potential.. plus im sure some guys will look for potential player ratings on fifa 14 :oldlol:

so yeah current ability but keep in mind that some players can change a game with their flashes of brilliance and some others cant yet despite being maybe more consistent

i agree with you, you had a great team with the best width i saw in all drafts :confusedshrug:
