For these playoffs, who you got?

Is Wade still better than Westbrook? When it matters, he probably is.

Wade is a veteran. In his prime he was better than Westbrook in every category as well as being a smarter player. This year his body has let him down but I say that he will outduel Westbrook with his mind, as San Antonios core have been doing for the last few years.

He's bigger, stronger, longer, much more efficient. Better defender by default. He finishes at a higher clip. He has has better basketball instincts and better feel for the game. The only thing Westbrook has on him is his relentless energy and passion, but it's not enough to yield a higher impact than Wade, especially considering Wade is pretty competitive himself.

Wade is the one person who can cancel out Westbrook. That's why the Heat have a favorable matchup against the Thunder.

When we go up against the Spurs or Pacers, they have no one that can check Westbrook or cancel him out. Durant/Westbrook combo is too deadly for pretty much every team except the Heat. They got them perimeter monsters, Wade, Battier, Bron, and of course Chalmers is a great perimeter defender at PG.

I'll take the most electrifying man in sports entertainment.
He may make a dumb play or 2, but his desire to win is second to none.

Wade is no slouch though.

I think Wades still more reliable b/c hes better defensively (Westbrook has dominant defensive games but there are some where he gambles so much and messes up the perimeter D) and more efficient. He has experience but I think Russ will explode in the playoff this year:rockon:

Someone said it before, and i will repeat it. The entire playoffs is depending on Wade's health.

If Wade his healthy he is > Westbrook

Best PG in the league fresh off owning Tony Parker and Chris Paul, not as good as a hobbled Wade.

Dafuq no, idk what dumb shots Westbrook takes, as of right now Westbrook > Wade.

This. Its all on the servant though. Needs to keep up his mvp play. If they lose, he just probably choked.

That all might of been true 2 years ago, but Westbrook now would probably have Wade on strength and speed.

Westbrook isn't better than the Wade before this recent injury, depends on how well he recovers from sitting out all this time. If he comes back the same Wade then he's > Westbrook.

probably not strength but definitely speed and quickness. also, Wade can't stay in front of Westbrook at this point in his career

Wade does a good job on Westbrook, but that isn't the reason Miami matches up well vs OKC while they matchup poorly with Indy and SA.

The real reason is because Miami has no center so SA and Indy rape Miami in the paint with scoring, rebounding, and just overall bully Miami. OKC does not have a post anchor, nor do they have a dominant rebounder or a center/PF that can abuse Miami's lack of size in the post like Hibbert/West or Duncan can.
