View Full Version : Losing is nothing to Manny. Mayweather ducked him.

That's all there is to it. No other opponent demanded drug testing or purse negotiations but only Floyd.
Manny has lost to Bradley and Marquez and Floyd still doesnt want to make it happen.

Except Pacquaio agreed to all the terms but he wanted 50/50
Mayweather said no.
Floyd ducked him, like hes done with most prime fighters throughout his career.

Woulda coulda shoulda. What was the reason for not fighting them? Dude disappeared without a trace when WW was the it division in the middle of the last decade.
And let's not pretend the dude is invincible. I've seen him get outboxed and beaten by Castillo. And the best fighter he faced since then, a completely shot and bloated Cotto, busted his nose with a jab Money couldn't avoid and made him look vulnerable.
But let's get hyped for his fight against the 12-1 underdog Chino

If they fought this year or next year do you think Pac wins against Mayweather? Simple question.

I'm not Floyd, I don't know is reasoning. But I've seen all of them fight, and Mayweather fight, and he beats them soundly.
The first Castilo fight was close, with a non-100% Mayweather still winning. In the immediate rematch, he beat him again.
Williams length may have troubled him, but he dealt with length vs. Corrales .
Cotto is 2012 was still years younger (age and boxing years) than May. Though, he did go through wars (one illegal) with Manny and Margarito.
Zab Judah early on seemed to give him a lot of problems.
A few months bac, Floyd said his toughest fight was against Emanuel Augustus.

Right aka instead of saying how those fights went down, we're dealing with hypotheticals. That's usually reserved for guys who fought in different eras and couldn't possibly match up not guys who were in the same division at the same time :oldlol:
And there's no reason why other than for one excuse or another, Money wasn't interested.
Paq apologists are so cute.
I'm the apologist talking about hypothetical matchups with guys who were in the same division at the same time as Pac? Word?
If they fought this year or next year do you think Pac wins against Mayweather? Simple question.
I'll put it this way- if Money couldn't for the life of him avoid fat Cotto's jab, what do you think he's gonna do with Pac's straight left? A broken and bloody nose would be the best case scenario.
But just throw this one in the 'well this is how it woulda went down had Floyd actually fought him...' pile with the others.

The Cotto fight wasn't even really close. Cotto had his flashes, including blooding his nose up, but it wasn't really close.
A face is gonna get messed up from time to time, even if you win.

This.
Floyd never really challenge himself after Castillo. He meticulously pick fighters he can beat easily. He is a great fighter but there's a lot left to be desired as far as his opponents go. Great achievements comes from great risk and Floyd only has few of them. I dunno why he find every excuses not to fight Pacquiao when you have guaranteed 50 million and all that glory adding to his legacy. Reward far outweighs the risk and only scared one who backs down.

There must be an direct relationship between Pacquaio winning fights and Mayweather haters coming out of the woodwork. They were nowhere to be found after Pac took a quick nap on the canvas at the hands of Marquez.

this match up lost its luster but i think a potential good fight is still there in all seriousness. too much prime status has been wasted away since pac lost twice. idk why a younger pac seems to be the has-been here but floyd has been strictly exclusive and elusive too as a match maker.
sounds like a dumb comment from someone who doesnt know what hes talking about
Drug testing is not a big deal. What was Paquiao's excuse again? He's afraid of needles? Lol.

if the fight never happens, the one who ducked out will have a 100% worthless career.
especially Mayweather. this asshole is a total scumbag. he made what, at least half a billion dollars by now?? he should accept the challenge even if it means he has to fight Pacquiao for free. this nikka made 100 of millions out of the loyal fans and cant even give them the one last great fight in boxing:facepalm :facepalm :facepalm

I would not say worthless career, Floyd is one of the greatest fighter in this generation (he made a lot of good fighters look like bums) and probably the greatest defensive fighter of all time but he's known for ducking fighters after going life and death with El Ternible. I mean if he has pair like JMM, he would not asked for blood test, OST, fight under my promoter and all kind of shenanigans to avoid Pacquiao at all cost. Funny thing is I believe that he will beat Pacquaio but I guess his health is more important.

What will all of the Pacquiao fanboys say when PBF beats him? "Oh well Pac-man was out of his prime" and all of that garbage. Pac-man is damaged goods. PBF has nothing to gain but money, and he can already get tons of money on his own.

Floyd has more to lose by facing a juiced up boxer than Pac does by going against a clean one. He's also the bigger draw. OP is a fakkit.
