No to ESPN or TNT.

Alot of basketball fans don't have cable, therefore they can't watch the games on ESPN or TNT. NBA wouldn't do that because there would be less viewers which means they would make a lesser amount of money. The NBA is all about making money so no way they put the finals on ESPN or TNT.

They should put it on NBC. It would bring back the 90s vibe

Yes. Before the NBA was on NBC, the NBA on CBS was great.

My favorite NBA broadcasts of all time have been NBC, CBS and TNT/TBS.

Finals need to be on network TV. Actually, more of the playoffs need to be on the network.

i kind of remember reading something a little back that said the NBA would be in negotiations with their TV rights in the next season or two. Anyone know anything about this?


and yeah, i love the nba on nbc. if it ever comes back, i hope they dont try to make the intro music more "hipper"

I grew up with the NBA on NBC. Just hearing the theme song made my hairs stand up. Those were the days. CBS was before my time, but I heard and I've seen some of their old games and they were solid. ABC/ESPN is just dog shit.

Yes. Please move back to NBC. The theme song returning would be so epic. I hate the ESPN/ABC coverage. TNT is so much better. I'd love for the NBA to either be only on TNT or on TNT and NBC.

Anything to limit the commercials. During the OKC/Indiana game, I swear the final minute had a 1:1 commercial to actual play in game ratio.

I mean this is also because of the amount of time outs called towards the end of close games. Can't really get around that.
