I think Durant ages into something between current Vince Carter and a good version of Rashard Lewis.

Durant will transcend age and keep getting better and better until age 65 in the 2043-44 NBA season, in which he will average 65/31/16/9/9 on 83/75/100 shooting.

He would have amassed 130k+ points, 30K+ rebounds, 20k+ assists, with 29 MVPS, 36 rings, 36 FMVPs, 22 ASG MVPs, etc.

Undisputed, unquestioned GOAT with no one surpassing him till the end of basketball as we know it.

Good shooter, no ability to beat people off the dribble.

This obviously can't happen. 2013+36 = 2049 season.

Awesome post.

But lol @ only 65/31/16.... by 2040 his averages will be around 81/41/19.

Agreed with the efficiency though

Probably like what we're seeing from Dirk.

that's the stat you are worried he wont get......lmfao 130k points would take 60 years of career avg 26.5 ppg

Elite shooters age well, Durant doesnt rely on athleticism to be effective.

He'll still be 6'10, he'll still have 7 ft wing span and he'll still have a jump shot.
Is that so hard to picture?

Probably like an old MJ without the post moves but with more range.

If you gave Wizards MJ 5 more inches in height, he'd be the best player in the league.

Similar to Dirk.

He won't be able to go by any player like he can now. Therefore the other players will guard him more closely and he will have to use more post up moves to get an open look. He'll also shoot less off the dribble and I expect him to play more pick and pop.

Dirk is bigger, heavier and less athletic, so it won't be exactly like Dirk. I think 37 year old Vince is also a good example, but then again Vince is smaller and he was more athletic than Durant.
