The Heat lost to Washington tonight which means that the Indiana Pacers will play the Atlanta Hawks as the number one seed in the first round. That is the first 100% confirmed East playoff matchup.

Upset probability anyone? I think the hawks would push this to a game 7. But the pacers would eventually win.

Oh no, it would of been more likely if the Knicks made it. I don't see the Hawks pulling an upset, the Pacers are too deep for them.

It's the only way they can beat Miami. They needed HCA badly, which they now have. As badly as Indy has been playing, I think they'll bounce back and win the East.

And as far as Pacers/Hawks, Hawks are winning 1 game at best.

Five, if Roy Hibbert doesnt get benched due to Pero Antic.

Bring em on, we won by 30 a couple of weeks ago in Atlanta. Let everybody look past us, hell I would if I were the Pacers, but Coach Bud was trained by the best and I think he'll get the Hawks to put up more of a fight than people expect.

Are you kidding? Everyone is down on the Pacers I would be surprised if this series doesn't go 7 games.

I give the Hawks a game at home because the Pacers just aren't that good on the road....

It's one of two things
Done in 6 games if Pacers play the way they do the past couple of months.
Done in 4 if Pacers play Pacers basketball.

Eitherway, Indiana ends up winning!

But then, the Hawks wouldn't be an 8th seed if Horford didn't go down. They were a solid 3th seed in the East well above .500 before he got injured.

Coach Bud did an excellent job this year.

Pacers are back :applause:

Thank you Thunder for getting them back, they may have lost the battle but the war can be won if the Pacers knock off Miami. Then the title is ripe for the taking.

Im thinking they they rest and recuperate the next 2 days and do their best to finish Atlanta ASAP so they can rest more before the 2nd round. These guys are tired IMO.
