nbastats.net is loading slowly now, but Oscar did it twice, Tiny Archibald did it once. Steph would have the fourth such game, I believe.

Oscar is so underrated.
I agree, and not because of the triple double season (though that's impressive), but the fact that he was the PG for all-time dominant offenses (on the level of Magic's and Nash's) and also a tremendous scorer who improved against good defenses in the playoffs. Underrated shooter and defender as well.

Oscar is so underrated.

That's why he had GOAT consideration at one point, despite losing out on MVPs to guys named Bill and Wilt. :facepalm

The most impressive thing about the triple double season is scoring more than 30 while doing it

Big O's numbers are overrated. He's a great player & was ahead of his time, but he put up 30 10+ rpg 10+ apg in an era where Wilt was putting up 30+ ppg 20+ rpg every season

Wilt put up 24 ppg 24 rpg 9 apg for a season, far more impressive than Oscar's seasons, considering that Wilt is a Center. You can't put Oscar over the likes of Wilt & Russell.

Oscar's in my first tier. I had to bump him up there a week or two ago as I pondered his career/stats/game.

What that man did on a basketball court was remarkable. No one has ever come close to that. I'd love to see some sort of defensive breakdown of his game for his triple double three year average. Or was it five years?

If you have Oscar in the top 10, you likely aren't going to have Kobe in the top 10. Which is no-no in my books, especially since I never saw him play. But then again I never saw Russell or Wilt or Kareem play either.

I believe it was Oscars first 5 seasons that he averaged a TD over. It only came out in the season totals that one time though. But all together over those five years he averaged one.

I have Oscar in my second tier, with Kobe, Shaq, Moses, West, Hakeem.
