They are getting overconfident and they think they could beat Miami during the 2nd round. They will regret.

Like New York 2 years ago, they had the chance to place themselves against Chicago, but they refused to do it. Them and their fans were super confident that they would beat Miami. Look what happened. :oldlol: :oldlol:

That's not even remotely what happened. Melo made 1, 1 comment saying he feels they could beat Miami if everything was going right. Also, NY had got beaten 0-4 against Chicago that season and matched up slightly better against Miami.

No one could predict:
- Rose would get injured
- Shumpert would blow out his knee
- Lin couldn't make it back
- STAT would miss games
- Chandler would have the flu

So think twice before you open your mouth next time, no one other than Niko thought Knicks would beat the Heat, but the circumstances changed considerably in only a game or 2.

What's worse is that Miami(reigning champions)are scared to play Brooklyn second round and have been losing to get the second seed.

You flame Brooklyn for having the confidence, but don't look at Miami's poor mentality.

This is how you explain their win against the Pacers? Nice logic.

Of course, no organisation could possibly be positioning themselves for best possible matchups in the playoffs right?

Players do get instructions to put in half assed effort in order to lose games. It happens.

You, my friend, are one of the few coherent Miami fans (I use that word loosely since most here are mere Bron stans) around here.

There's like, what 6 of you guys? That might even be pushing it.

All playoff teams playing tonight are gonna rest their starters tom night (2nd of a back-to-back) since all 30 teams are playing, and prolly aren't gonna win their last. Busy night tomorrow, we'll see how things shape up.

Except nobody knows how 3-7 will turn out. It might be beneficial to win games.

The Nets off/on switch has been off a lot this season. As a team, they just don't give a shit a large amount of the time. The problem is twofold, it's not always a given the on switch comes back on so quickly, and taking a team that was so in sync and getting them out of sync isn't beneficial.

Going out and beating the crap out of Cleveland tonight and then four days later being confident is better to me than losing, still maybe getting Chicago, and riding a losing streak.

Not us. The Bulls want the 3rd seed.

I can't see the Wizards tanking either, because if Charlotte beats us and the Wizards lose, Miami would play them in the 1st round.

Why do the Bulls want the 3rd seed? I would imagine the 4-5 seeds are ideal now that Indy has locked up the 1 seed. They've looked completely out of sync with Hibbert regressing to D-league levels. Most teams' best shot at reaching the ECF means avoiding the 3, 6, and 7 spots. Unless apparently if you're Brooklyn and think you have a better chance at beating Miami than Indy.

We don't do well against bigger teams with good rebounding presence and defense. If we're tanking, it's to avoid Chicago and the Pacers more than to get Miami.
